Questions & Answers
This is for our 5-year-old gymnast, and she despises it. It is difficult to spin, and the pad is thicker than she is accustomed to at the gym. (She chose to practice without the pad even when working on back hip circles.) If you have friends who might want to play on the bar (but aren't gymnasts), it's a good piece to have - But, in my opinion, it isn't absolutely necessary.
Gymnastics bars, uneven bars, and parallel bars can all benefit from the bar pad. It's a soft cushion that wraps around the bar and is secured with velcro. It will help your gymnast overcome his or her fear of hitting the bar too hard when learning new skills.

My 3- The bar is a source of fascination for a 12-year-old. She has a real gymnastics bar as well as a metal pulley system. We made a lower-height up bar for her to spin around on. This was about the same width as her, which was ideal because it allowed her to keep her arms at the proper distance from the bar. It did a great job of protecting her stomach until she got used to the bare bar. For those who are still bothered by the bar, this is an excellent option. The velcro is excellent; it has never come undone. The product is of excellent quality.
As a result, our gymnastic bars were not a fan of this. It was more difficult to perform skills with it, according to my daughter. It also moves a lot, and the hard velcro is always facing the wrong way up. br>br>However, it's ideal for our stall bars and stretch ladder, which she uses to stretch her oversplits and other muscles; the bar would normally hurt her leg, but not with this added padding. I intend to purchase additional items!.
The pad head is a tight fit, but it may be too tight. It's fine and hasn't come loose yet. Because it doesn't line up perfectly, I deducted one star. It appears to be in need of a little more wiggle room.
The hops slam up against the bar and require cushing, so it made a difference in my child's desire to practice. Particularly at first. I used to be a gymnast, and I strongly suggest this product for your child. Tumble Trak, you're the best!.
It's adorable, long-lasting, and she always wears it.
This was a big hit with my daughter. She hated having the bar on her hips, so this was ideal; we were previously using a blanket, but this is much more convenient. It's a little tight on the bar, so it won't spin easily, but the bar doesn't normally spin, so I don't think it'll be an issue.
It accomplishes its goal. I have a 5-year-old level 1 (bubble level 2) who kept bruising her hips at home while doing back hip circles and pullovers. This prevents this from happening while she is still gaining strength and control. She's in a much better mood now!.
This is something that my 10-year-old son enjoys. Her stomach no longer hurts, and rolling it helps her get up onto the bar more easily, she says: )br>Thank you, she now uses the bar her father bought for her.
