It replaces the original nicely

My friend gave me two of these rod holders, so I ordered two. The mounting holes for the old Scotty mounts were already drilled on an aluminum boat that I recently purchased, and these new mounting holes fit perfectly into the old holes. They mount on top, or on the side, and still allow for a pole to be used.

As of yet, I have not installed them. The screws weren't supplied or at least the right size screws were not provided. A quick update There is an issue with the mounting.
