However, they will not fit a square rail on a boat.
Similarly to others I've encountered, I had to loosen the mounting (clamping) allen head screw to make sure it was perpendicular to the Before mounting, the alignment needs to be parallel to the RAL.
You should buy the stainless steel 4 pieces. There's no need to worry about the price.

This pair was purchased because my old ones were getting cross-threaded and no longer held up. There is a Parker 2120 on the west coast and these things fit nicely on the 1" rail on that. There is only one thing I wish these things were a bit larger A lot of us on the west coast use jig sticks and deck hand rods which have a large butt on the end. I'll probably be able to use three of my five jig sticks in these, but I guess I'll make due.
The quality seems good and the installation was easy (if you can't do this, you should probably not.
It's a nice tight fit and they seem well made. I wasn't sure what to expect. The rod holders have not been used by me to hold rods when Whenever I'm moving, I make use of them as vertical holders for spare rods. It was a pleasure to do business with them and I But be careful not to allow the bolts to seize. When stainless finds himself in a bind, he becomes enraged. The one I got tangled in got loose while I was entering and I was lucky to get it There was some coppercoat on all the rest and it was.
The price for this set of 4 is much cheaper than 5 from West Marine. You cannot adjust the angle of the holder without completely removing the bracket, however. A factory-engineered fix for this problem would not be all that difficult. In any case, I drilled, cut, and sanded smooth the plastic bracket at the bottom of the rod, so both sides must sink further, which will make it It takes a few minutes for all four rows, not difficult at all, but does take some effort. Now, you should not install the bolt until you have removed the adjustment screw, applied thread locker, and tightened it down to the absolute max. When you have tightened the two remaining bolts, you can apply thread locker to the others and exert muscle to tighten them. After installing all 4, I realized that if just 1 of the adjustment screws were to loosen, the rod reel would be in the lake and I would be left with the bracket only. I believe it is unlikely that there are any possibilities of these failing if all 3 bolts are hit.
I like them a lot. I love how easy they are to install and how good they look. They have a variety of adjustment options. My $300 rod and reel has been spent on them. On the T Top in the rear, I placed some holders. There was rough water coming out of the inlet and I had my rod up there. I noticed that one of my rods was missing when I went to get my gear at the fishing spot. The rod holder turned (spun on the railing) and dropped the rod out of the back of the boat due to the weight of the rod and the thrashing of the boat. My knowledge of the subject was nonexistent. Whenever you install them, make sure to tighten those screws down really tight. I actually picked up some JB Weld to ensure I won't have to worry about it happening If you get a big bite while soaking some bait, it may pull your rod into the water if it pulls too hard.
Overall, a very nice looking product that's easy to install and a very adaptable one. Pros they require more effort to lock down than my lockdown, as they can dump rods into the water. In addition, I would like to mention We were towed off of the water after my boat died 3 minutes after I got the news that my rod was with Davey Jones. That was funny. Now that water is out of the picture, I am happy.
The product is excellent, but you will need to use a cobalt drill, cutting oil, and a slow speed in order to fit a 1/4-20 in it. To avoid rods twisting as they dock, stick a 25-inch bolt in each end of the rod. The bottom of the cage is made of plastic, so the rods do not lock If you get rid of it and then put in the bolt, you have an excellent There is no reason as to why they did not put it in such a well made product. Finding a way to drill these took me a considerable amount of time There is no denying that steel is tough!.
I got a 4 pack of these, two for my 19' skiff and two for my When I went to install on the skiff, I found that the allen bolts bottomed out in the holes before tightening, they were almost there. Apparently, my rails were just a little bit smaller than 7/8" in diameter. Afterwards, I went to the hardware store and purchased a 1/4" stainless washer and lock washer for each bolt. I mounted them again and they are tight as a drum. As an added bonus, I like the idea that the lock washer should never be loosened. The overall quality is good, they are well made, and they are half the price that you would pay This is an excellent book.
My efforts in drilling and cutting out the plastic end resulted in a rod that fits The salmon (salmon).
I thought these would be spring loaded and you could turn and lift to adjust left to right, but they are The rods have to be completely detached from the rail to be adjusted. It would be nice if they could redesign them to handle adjustments like that it wouldn't be that difficult to do, but if you keep your rods in the same position you should be okay. There are a lot of nice things about them.
