You can mount the racks pretty much anywhere, as they have mounting points on the racks. This kit comes with hardware, but the screws are cheap and should be replaced with high quality stainless steel
The mounting screws go in between the tubes, so there is a flat area between them
There is a limit of two rods per holder, but it will still work. Large fish may not be handled as well as smaller ones

Two of these are on my kayak milk crate, and I cannot express how pleased I am *BR>It is because of two reasons that they are perfect for milk crates. 1
The long rod handles don't extend all the way to the deck since they don't have the reel slot like most other rod tubes do. 3.
Their width is about the same as a milk crate, so they provide the perfect fit for fishing rigs.
So, for yak fishermen, these are the perfect size.
The holder is a fishing rod holder, attaches to the surface with screws, and holds fishing rods, which sums it up pretty well.
As skeptical as I was, I ordered it and it did fit in the existing license plate holes. In my case, the license plate is flat and it fits perfectly with very little modification. For the license plate holder, I drilled out the mounting holes to fit my bolts and mounted the whole thing to my bumper, then mounted the pole mounts and the license plate on the I am extremely happy with the result, and it turned out to be a lot stronger and more sturdy than I expected! I would recommend this seller because of their speedy shipping and accurate description. My fishing buddies want to know that I will buy from them again and recommend them.
It has been a great addition to my kayak milk crate to use this tube rod rack. In the tubes, I can also store an additional pole and a net. It's strong, super lightweight, and I hope to continue using it for some time. A simple process was required to install the rack onto the crate. In spite of the rack's somewhat higher price, I highly recommend it or a similar product.
If I had to buy it again, I would. I am sure they will do the job well, since they are solidly built. It would have been better to have a reel notch, though I could get one by dremeling if I felt it was crucial. Hardware comes with the crates, however, I attached them using zip ties, as do most people who attach them to a Kayak crate.
The usual way to do things.
A Plano V-2000 was used to mount it The crate is a little defpliant due to one set of the mounting holes being all that could be bolted up due to a V-shaped slide track Though it may appear to be a crate, I am delighted with it, and I strongly recommend purchasing a few of these, especially if you can mount all the bolt holes on the.
This should have been my first kayak crate, so I should have paid closer attention when I purchased it. As there are no slots for the reel on these rod holders, the rods do not seem to be as.
