My mug is always in danger of getting lost. In addition to Walmart, DSG, and BPS, I also brought the cup to them. I have not found a single mug that fits well. I wouldn't recommend buying this if you're going to use it to hold your cup. Please sign below. An adhesive back was attached to some 1/2 foam spacers. Following rubbing alcohol cleaning, I dried the application surface, attached three 1-inch feet and attached them to the application surface A thickness of 1/2 inch is applied to the top edge of the foam. It was important for me to try and space them evenly around the With it, my mug holds snug and can be kept for a long time without having to be reinserted. If the desired fit cannot be achieved in another mug, then more or less material needs to be added. Fins that are flexible would solve the problem of variations in size. The product I own now is easily 3 stars better than this product. There is more to be gained if the mounting options can be improved. The mounts are appreciated, Scotty. It just goes to show that even the big boys can't think of everything. Thanks for trying, though. Foam with adhesive and insulating properties should be cut to the appropriate.
Using the Scotty posts with standard Scotty mounts is possible. Depending on your preference, the Scotty logo can be attached to the bottom or side of the cup. Also included in the package is the surface mount, which can be attached to the bottom or side of the cup and does not require additional parts to make it work (the scotty deck mount). As a result, you can mount them in a wide range of ways. As far as the cup itself goes, it's okay. This is not as good as it could be. I found those slits to be too wide as well. Instead of slits and drain holes, I would have preferred a cup with just drain holes at the bottom. It might be useful to have the rail with the openings for certain uses, but I think the cup would be better without it. Besides flexing with the cup holder wall, there is also unnecessary flex in the cup holder. The cup holder works fine as a cup holder, but not really well for holding other objects, such as cell phones, VHF handheld radios, keys, etc, mostly due to the oversize Considering how many mounting options this cup holder offers and how well it works, I rate it four stars overall. Even so, I am not certain as to how many I will buy I just don't find this as helpful for my applications as I would like. A cup holder with fewer "value-added" features would be more appealing to me. In the future, Scotty will no longer be in business with me on this product.
I think these are really cool. The rod holders I already had on the boat, so installing them was a breeze. The only complaint I have is that there were no The only thing I would change might be to put some rubber on the inside to grab cans or cups better, but it didn't cause any issues but could be improved. Because I drink coffee, the slots on the handle are a key feature and something that I didn't think about before buying the set, but I am glad I had them. You will also receive a mount in the case that you do not own a rod holder. don't have them mounted just yet, but I have plans to do so and will let you know if they are mounted. Easy to install with the screws that come with the mounts.
In the case where all other clips on options fail, this is a great fix. As a result, the base is not in the way when it is removed. The following two drawbacks are minimal First of all. . There is a lot of sugar in the cup. No beer can will fit. It was designed to fit a 32oz big gulp bottle. There will be some shakes in your drink, but it's okay. I'm having a drink with you. I'll second that. It would have been better if they Two pointed screws are left behind! Unfortunately, the screws work just fine, but they leave behind This is a nutless device. There is no cover to cover it. If you plan on sticking your knee in these screws, it is best to cover them up with a little coating at the hardware store. This is a good option for kayak drinks, and I searched high and low for it. There is a Perception Conduit 13 on my computer.
In order for it to stay on, you must jb weld or glue it. Otherwise, you will have to take it off every time. It's a given that I won't buy any more. This particular device just won't stay put once it has been put. You are supposed to be able to move it around and take it off to clean it, but this one just won't budge once it has Scotty, you have done it again. Update lost a third. I'm so over this. Now is the time to jump on the bandwagon.
Can't express how happy I am with the results. Having a cupholder very near the helm of the boat was essential. It fits most types of containers & comes in a variety of colours You can buy soda in A stainless water bottle even tall enough to fit inside it will not fall out while in transit. Strong and durable I don't have to worry about a break. Having the extra slots along the perimeter for item storage was a real plus after the install - Easy and convenient storage of glasses, lures, small pliers, etc. is provided by the grooves in the case.
I like that these can be mounted in a variety of ways. The stub mount can be mounted on horizontal or vertical surfaces in very small spaces. So, I can mount the rod holders BUT I can also mount the little stub mount on horizontal or vertical surfaces. Aside from that, the little mount is so thin that it won't cause a tripping hazard or hang up on many things. In some places, I have them mounted on the floor and I like to be able to pop them out and move them to rod holders if I need to load a large tackle box or cooler. These are pretty pricey, but if you have a limited space/flexibility, then this is a great option.
The quality is fantastic and the durability is outstanding. I have attached my Scotty bait board to mine, with the bait board and drink holder because I can hang all the lures at the beginning of the trip, which makes it much easier to use. I don't have to dig through my tackle bag to find a new lure. In my opinion, this is better than the Yak Attack simply because I use Scotty mounts and the Yak Attack.
