The cradle in which the baitcaster reel is held is not mounted

Rod holders equipped with a slot at the front of the rod can be used to secure spinning reels in place

An open bottom design of the rod holder allows it to accommodate trigger grips due to the side mounted flange

Quick retrieval of rods is possible with pistol grip rod butts since the butts easily clear the side of the rod holder

In the holder, one of the latching straps that snaps over the top is used to hold the rod in place

Can you tell me how big this rod holder is? ?The large size is too large for lighter spinning gear so the smaller size is better.?

You can use this product with almost any rod type. As a walleye fisher, and also one who trolls on lakes and rivers in the Midwest and Canada, my boat meets my needs. The rod was used to catch plenty of big fish. My favorite rod holders are the bigger ones for muskies, but I find that they work for about 98 percent of my fishing endeavors. It is large enough to fit large rods. There is no difference between a spin cast and a casting rod.

How will the holders fit into a mount for the Atwood Roberts holder?

You won't be able to do that. Pins that fit in Atwood mounts are too wide.

This is a nice model and I find it very sturdy and well constructed. When you consider the cost to purchase an extender and other options, the device is on the pricey side. As long as you align the tab correctly, they're easy to install. The next time I buy, I will Choosing another brand was not a cost effective option as my purchase already had female connectors installed. This would make for a more convenient cup holder to hold both a cup and a cell phone simultaneously (two in one).

The product is sturdy, but you need to be able to turn it or take it out so you can use The product looks nice and is There is one problem with it, though, which is that I'm not quite sure how to set the strap for holding the rod in place

I only had to adjust the rod a bit the other day while trolling and I kept it in position no matter what, so that eases a bit of my nervousness about not being able to strap it down. Another thing about it is that if you want to change the position of it, it's a bit problematic to lift it so you can turn it once it's down in place since it tends to get stuck. In any case, I'm very pleased with my purchase and I appreciate how sturdy the product is and how well designed it is.

The cat is blue and has not had any problems so far. This line has been used on 6+ all-day fishing outings with strikes from Bowfins, Stripers, Channel Cats, and Blue Cats, including a 24 pounder. The cat is blue and has not had any problems so far. This track adapter works well with Scotty's #438 Gear Head Track. Initially the fit is a bit snug, but it will break in with use and the quick release feature is convenient when using.
