The product can be used for holding fishing poles, cup holders, and fishing tools while on the water. You can use the pole when you are moving to new locations, trolling, fishing drop shots, and hoisting a landing net vertically out of the way with one. I'm happy with it because it meets all my needs. It's not difficult to set the holder adapter into the boat rails as long as the clamp on the back rotates with the back of the rail so the clamp locks into the rail The fact that I can move these around the boat as my needs change, that I can change the angle of the pole and that I can remove the accessories and leave the adapters in place means that my boat cover fits properly. I think this is an excellent idea. It is my suggestion that there should be a right and a left side of the boat. On one side of the boat the tightening ball is on the inside of the boat and is very easy to reach. However, the ball rests right on top of the rails of the boat, which makes it difficult to adjust. I'm not trying to be too picky, but it'd definitely make for a good addition going forward.
