With four rather than just two goodies in the Tuff Krate, I am pleased. A simple installation process. There are two holes, one shallow (would prefer deeper) so the rods are a little loose in these holders, but they function fine otherwise. Kayak crates are a great solution to this problem.
Well made and mount easily with a drill and some toothpaste. I used toothpaste to make marks on the back of the rod holders, then attached them to the panel, and removed them. The drill points are left clean and clear.
In addition to being attached to Flambeau crates, they work reasonably well when loaded so that the crates don't tip over.
With my yak, I always transport it in a bungie with my rods and they always stay there. So far, everything appears to be working well.
Holders work well and do what they are supposed to do.
The crate is a great place to hang extra rod holders or nets.
The fishing rod holder screws right into the crate and is adequate for holding fishing rods.
The ToughKrate fits perfectly with this product.
