I measured both pieces at 13 5/8" total length, and they have a screw hole spacing of 13 1/4.". I should also note that there is a third screw hole in the middle of the plate This part is a long one.
Without a doubt. The reel should be indexed and mounted - At the rod end, mount the twist-lock portion where you think the rod end will be in substantial support. A fishing rod holder like this can be used for all static fishing
The ceiling above the boat cockpit area would be good for mine, so I would assume it would work fine. Double-sided tape I used is 3M auto I was pleased with the double-sided mounting tape's hold and its ease of use Rather than drill more holes, we avoided it
It's the racks that I use in my boat. They hold the rods well, but I remember seeing another rack that had plastic latches/locks. This would be a more suitable solution for a truck.

Rod holders are mounted in storage compartments located in the passing through of my 5th wheel. This unit was mounted to the aluminum floor supports on the overhead of my compartment by screwing it to the ceiling. Installing it was easy, and once complete, it kept the rods securely in place. On one side of the storage compartment, I mounted the section with a through hole the closest to the access door, whilst on the other side, I mounted the section with a twist lock near the center. Since the twist lock mode is located near the center of the RV, it can be a little difficult to remove the rod, but aside from having to reach for the rod tip to unlock the rod, I am very pleased Although I have not traveled with it yet, I have no doubt that it will securely hold the rods when traveling. In the case of the two smaller spinning rods, I didn't remove the reels and I had to remove the reel on the large rod.
Upon installing it in my shed, I found that it complemented the ceiling nicely. Each one has a different brand stamp, but they are identical. With a price of $13, it is still a great deal. Please note If your rod is beefy, the part that holds the tip side may be very tight. Make sure you are gentle when you store and remove your rods, and your rod holder should last you for a long time.
As a fishing angler, I have just purchased my 5th and 6th Berkley rod holders it is the best rod holder ever created. Since I have been using them for about 25 years were brought to As a working person, I move a lot and use these supports to mount my rods on the ceilings of my basements, first at my parents' house then in my last 4 residences since I moved there. Since they have always kept the rods out of harm's way, they have never caused any harm. Even though I'm now an adult, I still own some old rods and reels from when I was a teenager. The new Fishing Pole Storage Racks are perfect for storing my older son's fishing poles as he finally gets into fishing (thank God). As a result, they help me teach my kids to take care of their gear, so you will be able to take care of your gear.
In a nutshell My truck bed is 6 feet long, so installing this on my truck top was a mostly straightforward process. The length of the rope is 5 feet. The section of the rod I put there is angled so that the handle of the rods is facing the cab, so I can put the rod tips in without bending any of them. There were two issues that I encountered The following are the 1 to 10 assignments. When you screw the top into the fascia, the screws have flat heads, so you cannot apply very much force. The second column contains two numbers So as not to poke through the top of your topper, you will most likely want shorter screws. As of mid-August, I have a mid-sized dog The part that is extra tall worked just fine in the areas where it is extra tall, but I poked through in two areas where it is "regular" The rod holder is a good product and solution for storing rods on trips, allowing you to use the bed of the truck where rods can be stored without having to worry about their condition or damage.
This is installed on the bed cap (ARE topper) of a long bed Tacoma. I curved the rods so they could fit in the bed with my longer rods. This feature makes it easy to twist and lock. In addition, I have the 'holed' side facing the cab so I can slide the rods in from outside (reel side near the cab) and then lock them in without having to get into Ensures everything is held securely in place.
I like them A set of these was mounted along the sides of my 16' aluminum boat with two sets. During my first trip with the holders, I set them up in the holders, mounted the rods in the holders, and drove 3 hours. Rods were held in place A nice feature is the way they lock the front of the rod in place also have two sets of crimping tools that don't have the lock, but do have foam that you put the rod through to hold it, and the foam is starting to wear You may find it a little cumbersome to unlock and reach another rod when you are on the boat, but it is not a huge issue. In travel, I mainly use them to take care of my poles. In addition to one rod sitting near me when I'm fishing, I typically have several others.
These items were purchased to help me hang my fishing poles in the rafters of my garage and they do a great job! The item I was looking for is hard to find at a number of sporting goods stores, but I was able to locate it on Amazon. Moreover, they're extremely durable, lasting for a very long time.
You only need to drill holes in the factory luggage rack and zip tie it. The waters off the coast of New Jersey and Cape Hatteras are where I fish inshore saltwater. Driving 12' heavers down the highway at 75 mph is not a problem. Highly recommended for trolling gear equipped with heavy offshore hooks.
