a bit more substantial
I don't mean working in them in the traditional sense. If you require that feature, I would recommend the Sketchers For Work line.
Different materials were used, but they were all good and strong. These are fantastic shoes that will last for a very long time.

Skechers are the only shoes I own. They're the only shoes I can put on and walk around in all day. Whether at work, in the woods, or on vacation. This trail runner isn't any different. For wool socks and hiking, I bought a wide (one size larger). It's light, well-tread, and dries quickly, and it's a third of the price of 'outdoor' brands. Now, keep in mind that I have a problem with my feet. They have hammer toes and a bunion, and they're as flat as a pancake (requiring orthotics). I slipped the orthotics over the padded sole and made sure they were snug but not uncomfortable. Very pleased!.
These shoes are narrow, and the roomy toe box that makes Skechers so comfortable for me is missing. I suppose a half size larger would have been preferable, but I've always ordered Skechers in the same size and never had an issue. I like the traction these shoes provide, but I can only wear them for a few minutes before my feet begin to hurt. Perhaps they're in desperate need of a vacation. during the time period Let's see how things turn out.
I'd never give these anything less than five stars if I could. I like to walk and run during the day to keep myself active, and I sometimes wear these all day. I was taken aback by how relaxing these are. They fit like a glove, are incredibly durable, and grip like no other. I even tie them and put them on and off with ease. When I'm walking, they're even quieter than the other shoes I have. And, given how long I expect these to last, they're reasonably priced. I mean, there aren't any negatives that come to mind!.
The shoelaces have the appearance of being made of a thin, slick material. It means that when I try to tighten the lower laces, they keep slipping back, and there's no bite to keep them in place while I try to tie my shoes. So far, they've felt good once laced and on, but I wouldn't buy them if I knew the lace quality was so bad. Also, these shoes weigh roughly twice as much as the GOrun Ultra shoes, so if you're looking for sketchers because you like how light they are compared to, say, Asics, I'd stay away from these.
Normally, I wear a size 7 or 7. I'm 5 feet tall, and I'm finding that a lot of shoes these days are too small for me. As a result, I placed an order for seven X-rays. On purpose, the space is intentionally large. In contrast to other shoes, these X-Men X-Men X-Men X- Wide pairs appear to be wider than they are, and I wished I had ordered only 7 (without the X-). Wide). However, I was able to make do with shoe strings and went for a 4-mile walk. They were not in any way painful to my feet, and they were comfortable, with no shoe blisters on the first walk. Paying an extra $20-$30 for a known Chinese brand is, in my opinion, worse.
I bought them with the intention of taking them on walks around my neighborhood, but they never arrived. My feet and knees hurt like they've never hurt before after two trips to the grocery store across the street. On wet surfaces, the yoga mat soles are as slippery as ice, and they have an odd sweet odor. I'm not a fan of these shoes in the least.
