Questions & Answers

Is it possible to get them in a smaller size?

Yes. I placed an order for an 8. 5 wide, but still a little small and too narrow. Normally, there are eight. 5 wide is the perfect fit for me, just a tad loose and easy to put on and take off. I'm going to order a size 9 of this shoe because I really like it. To see if it fits, make it 5 wide.

This shoe, according to reviews I've read online, wears out quickly. Is this true? Considering making a purchase?

This is complete nonsense. This is a fantastic pair of shoes. I have a number of pairs in various states of repair. Some people walk 5 miles per day, while others walk 450-500 miles per week. The distance is 500 km. There are no problems with the wear.

How can I tell which TR model is the best of the bunch among all these TR models?

The TR model is the only one available. TR 12 represents TR's most recent generation. The TR 11 generation came before this one. Prior to that, there was TR 10, and so on.

What is tr, and what does it stand for? I've noticed that they come in various quantities. What are the meanings of tr 9, tr 10, tr 11, and tr 12?

If my memory serves me correctly, it refers to a trail runner. The edition number is all there is to it. The TR12 is the trail runner's most recent version.

Great for flat, rock-free trails
3/5

To begin with, these shoes are exceptionally comfortable. I purchased them in the hopes of replacing my old Solomons for trail running and hiking, but I was mistaken. The Saucony is an excellent trail or road running shoe. When I tried to use them on rocky trails, I almost broke my ankle. Normally, I work on 6-hour days. To avoid injury, I returned to my car after only 2 miles. They are comfortable, but the back of the shoe does not cradle your heel and flexes easily, allowing your heel to slide when walking on rocks or steep trails. I'm keeping them because they're great for running around the neighborhood, but don't get them if you want to go hiking or on trails. Choose a Solomon if you're looking for a wise person.

For the past 6 years, these have been the best fitting and feeling shoes
5/5

TR12 100% comfortable day 1. TR12 100% comfortable day 1. TR12 100% com For the past 6 years, I have worn Saucony TR shoes on a daily basis. Except for the TR11 (which I don't think looks very good), I've owned at least one pair of TR7 through 12. It all began when I came across the black/orange TR7s in a store. They fit and felt great right away, which is unusual for me. Also, for a running shoe, they looked fantastic. I was hooked after that, and I now have a closet full of extra TR8's, 9's, and 10's. The 7 and 8 were, in my opinion, the most attractive, and I hope they return to something similar and with the Orange/Black color scheme in the future. br>br>Once, I went out to buy a pair of regular (non-trail) running shoes so that I wouldn't ruin my TR shoes. I purposefully chose to buy another brand after trying on a few and finding them all to be odd. They were all off as they walked/jogged around the store. I then grabbed a pair of Suacony running shoes (I'm not sure what kind they were) that felt perfect right away and I put them on. I also found them to be less expensive than the other pairs I tried on. br>br>It's uncommon for me to come across shoes that feel good right away. A pair of TR9s had worn out a few weeks ago, so I dug out another pair. They felt fantastic at first, but they needed some time to settle in. After a few weeks, I decided to order a pair of TR12s from Amazon and put the TR9s back in the closet (for the time being). When I switched to the TR12s, I immediately felt at ease. This is something that never happens with any shoe. I'm not sure what it is, but they didn't seem to require any break-in or adjustment at all, even when compared to the TR9s I had just installed. It was perfect in every way. Advantages: br>br> The price is reasonable. It's very relaxing. (With the exception of wet polished floors! For a running shoe, it's quite attractive. Newer versions are more durable than older versions. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. They have a tendency to break down quickly, though I believe the older ones were less expensive and therefore broke down more quickly. I believe they cost more and last much longer once you get past the TR8. It's difficult to say without knowing more. But, for the most part, I've been on a break from work. In the first couple of years, I had a lot of negative experiences. In fact, the first pair I purchased (for less than $40! ) The sides of my pinky toes were blown out! It was terrible and occurred far too soon (roughly half the time the shoes should have lasted), but the shoes were so good/cheap that I stuck with them and haven't had it since. The heel plastic usually breaks through and grinds against your heel first, and this can take a long time. br>On wet polished floors, be extra cautious. They slide around a lot, as I imagine other shoes like this do. br>It's difficult to find older versions, and some of them appear to be better. br>br>I strongly advise you to try out the Saucony TR shoe line.

This is an excellent shoe
5/5

I'm 6'3 and 269 pounds, and by my standards, I'm not overweight. This is my third pair, and while I don't expect to get more than a few months out of each pair, they are by far the best footwear I've worn in a long time. For the time being, this is acceptable. br>They are well-fitting and provide all-day comfort. This is your best bet for the price.

For me, these are excellent shoes
5/5

Normally, I put on a size 10. In these, the numbers 11 and 11 are a good match for me. This shoe is extremely cushioned, which has greatly aided my feet. I used them to complete the Grand Canyon r2r2r and then purchased a second pair to complete my first marathon in. I used to just wear shoes until they were worn out, but I've recently discovered how much better my feet and knees feel when I replace them more frequently. These are convenient for me and don't cost a fortune.

Still, the quality is poor
3/5

My second pair of Saucony sneakers was purchased. Not even on the trail, but I wore it a few times. The thread was pulled free. My first pair of Saucony trail sneakers only lasted a half-season, not even a full year, when used sparingly. They keep raising the price as if it were a high-end brand, but the quality is still poor. I ordered a pair of Asics that looked similar but were $20 less. The quality is significantly improved. I've been wearing the same model for years and they still look great after machine washing and air drying, so I decided to buy a new pair while they were still available. Regardless of quality, when I received these, they were brand new, but each contained several dog or cat hairs. I'm going to try these again. The replacement pair has the same shoddy quality as the original pair. After a few wears, the threads popped out. I'm not going to buy anything from this company again. It is a waste of time.

The Go- *Update* - To Brand! For the past ten years, my family and I have worn Saucony shoes
4/5

A running shoe can't go wrong in terms of price or quality. br>*Update* This is the first time one of Saucony's shoes hasn't lasted a year (approximately 9 months). After a few months, all of the stitching on the sides has come undone. Apart from the aesthetic stitching design mentioned by other reviewers, the shoe is still in new condition. br>I'd either wait for the TR13 or go with the TR11 (which was great and lasted a long time). lasting). br>br>I haven't run many miles or hiked any trails with these since I got them, nothing compared to what I've done with these shoes in the past; just everyday wear wore them down faster than I expected.
