Questions & Answers

These appear to be fantastic shoes, but is there any way to make the insoles softer? It's a little painful after a few hours?

You should dress in a smaller size.

I'm usually a size 11 in nike, but I've never worn Saucony before. ?

Depends. To be honest, I'd size up half a size because my son wears these and he's always growing, so I can't compare. I normally wear a 10 in other shoes, but I wear an 11 in women's (same shoe design and always buy Saucony 11). I haven't worn Nike in a long time, but I used to be a size 10 when I did. My daughter wears a size 11 Nike and I had her try on my shoe; she had about a half-thumb of room to wear it; it wasn't tight, but it wasn't a lot of room either. I hope this has been of assistance.

Is it true that they are suitable for people with wide feet?

They do, in fact, It's very relaxing.

Walking is a breeze with these shoes
5/5

Sauconys have been my go-to shoes for years because they're known for being soft, and I like to take care of my feet. I've tried a lot of different brands, but Saucony is still my favorite. These are my third set of Excursion trails, which I purchased recently. I was a little hesitant about ordering online because the others were TR11 and TR12, but I was not let down. These are, if anything, more comfortable than their predecessors. br>br>In my opinion, these are not suitable for running. Despite the fact that they are advertised as running trails, I prefer to walk on them. I walk to work and find that other shoes cause me foot pain, so these are the shoes I keep coming back to. I don't have the aches and pains that I do in other shoes after a full day of walking around in them. br>br>The only caveat is that softer shoes are less likely to last as long. I'm willing to make the sacrifice. These are reasonably priced for a high-quality shoe, so I don't mind if they break down. In comparison to similar shoes, the soles of these shoes last longer for me. I'm prone to wearing out the outer heel of my shoes, and then discarding them when they begin to slant to one side. Because these trail shoes have a wider tread, this doesn't seem to happen as frequently as other shoes, so I can wear them for a little longer.

These shoes are great for the price, and I wear them on the trail every day
4/5

Every day, you should run 5 miles. I walk about 120 miles per month and use these solely for that purpose. There are no other activities planned. Granted, there's a lot of sandstone where I walk, and it's rough, but they take a lot of abuse. I get about 300 miles out of them before they turn into grass-cutting shoes. The heels of the previous pair wore in, but I failed to remove the liners and shake out the sand on a daily basis. These shoes had to be retired because they became unglued in the toes. These are one of the few shoes I can wear without experiencing hip or back pain as a result of excessive mileage. I'm not a runner, but I do a lot of walking. For the price, I'll put these at the top of my list of dependable items.

NOT GTX
3/5

Just ordinary non-alcoholic beverages. The shoe is also available in a waterproof variant. I contacted the seller and requested that the listing be changed; they stated that they had contacted Saucony about it, but that nothing had been done. In comparison to the TR15, TR14, and Brooks Ghost GTX. These were essentially the same as the TR15. The sizing was accurate. The TR14s appeared to be a misstep in the line, as they were stiffer and less well-fitting on my slightly wider size 11 foot. The Brooks are also very comfortable, but they have a taller, cushier sole. In my opinion, there is far too much of it. These TR13s would be a steal if they were the GTX version, but even in their regular form, they're a great deal.

Not recommended because of the poor quality
3/5

This product is terrible, extremely poorly made, and I would not recommend it. After returning these, I purchased the exact same shoes in the store, and the quality difference was astounding.

I'm not a fan
3/5

For the past 12 years, I've been wearing Saucony trail running shoes and have always been pleased with them. When I first opened the box, I thought they looked like something I'd get at Walmart, and they felt like a cheap pair of shoes as well. I tried them on and knew right away that I wasn't going to keep them. There was nothing extravagant about them, and certainly nothing about them that justified the price of $40 or more!.

Fit is good, weight is good, and the body is flexible
5/5

This is the third or fourth pair of Saucony boots I've owned. I'm not a brand loyalist, but when I find something that does the job and is reasonably priced, I stick with it. br>br>These are similar to the Trail Runners I purchased years ago, though the upper fabric feels more durable. Based on my previous Saucony shoes, I gave them a five-star durability rating. They're comfortable to wear and offer good ventilation. If you live in a cold climate, you should either wear a warmer shoe or wear good wool running socks, in my opinion. BR>BR>SIZE: BR>BR>SIZE: BR>BR>SIZE: BR>BR>S I range in size from 8 to 10. 5 to 9. 5 (in the United States), medium/narrow - Depending on the shoe's manufacturer and style. I placed a total of eight orders. I bought my first pair of New Balance shoes in a size 5 (US) because that was the size I was in at the time. I got a 9 in exchange. 5 (US), and I've been satisfied with them ever since. One of my toes measures approximately. I fit into that one because it was 5" longer and a little wider than the other. It's preferable to have a little extra room than to be too restricted.

It's all back to normal now! The TR's are a shoe I wear on a daily basis
5/5

I've been buying Saucony shoes for over a decade, and the shoe suddenly became MUCH narrower a few years ago. particularly in the toe box Someone has finally gotten the message. This pair of shoes has reverted to its previous comfortable fit. Now. Please follow the same procedure with your running shoes.

I had one Excursion TR that didn't work for me (it was usually my go-to)
3/5

to shoe). I have a number of $50-$100 bills that I'd like to sell. A hundred pairs of Saucony Excursion Tr shoes from the last few years. I almost always like them (though the GTX versions are occasionally sized incorrectly, and a pair of Tr12 are a little less supple than I prefer). This was a disaster. Soles that are extremely hard; not a patient person On the right side of the left shoe, just before the heel, there was an extra hard part that felt like a misplaced rock guard/shank. This pair was made even worse by a sewing error beneath the removable foot bed. I'm not giving up on the model because most Excursions I've tried have a great fit and are very durable.
