No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no It's a rubber that's pliable.
This is a fantastic question that comes at the perfect time. After giving it enough time to convince myself that I could easily use it for running*, I've decided that this product is better for trail use. It's too stiff for daily short runs or long road walks, in my opinion. My knees and feet hurt, and I'm having trouble walking. Changing to running shoes will begin today. br>br>* Previous running shoes did not provide adequate support after a short period of time.
There's no other reason for it than to look good.
The word "wide" in this case refers to a size 2E, but the shoe is not at all wide. My foot was barely wide enough to fit into the shoe, which was extremely tight.

The good stuff -
- These shoes have excellent FIT. All of the curves, bumps, and hollows appear to be precisely where MY foot needs them to be. The NBs have always been a good fit for me. They've been a part of my wardrobe since the 1970s. Even other New Balance styles at lower price points don't come close to fitting this style.
- The material is light. I believe NB has always done a good job in this area. This pair is simply "a little better" (lighter) than their lower-cost counterparts.
- Soles with a cushioned feel but a lot of tenacity. The sole's bottom is made of a tough material. Hard to puncture with rocks, cactus needles, sticks, etc. , and probably wouldn't survive a rattlesnake bite. (Doesn't everyone live on a ranch in the desert?) The inside, foot side of the sole is the usual, very well molded, NB insert. I've never found a good replacement if/when the original NB inserts wear out. Simply put, they're fantastic. There's some kind of magical foam stuff between the outer and inner layers that's quite cushy but always seems to rebound after use. Years go by before you notice the "footprint" in the sole. Whatever they put in there, and whatever design the engineers came up with, it all works out beautifully. It's ideal for me, a big guy who spends his days walking and doing ranch chores. From the feet up, it helps to reduce joint impact. br>br>The CON sections - br>br>The shade - Consider a boardroom full of people who all have different opinions on the color of a product. Some people prefer their surroundings to be dim. Some people are looking for illumination. Some people prefer bold stripes and eye-catching designs. Slouch is desired by some, while camo is desired by others. I'd describe the color of these shoes as a "bad compromise. " "Pigment" is one of the colors. Really? "Pigment" is the name you give to a pigment. It's the equivalent of creating a new fruit and naming it "Fruit. " This shoe is blue, green, brown, tan, purple, gray, and all of the above at the same time in some places. It's as if they threw all the leftover dye into the vat and came up with a gray-colored mess. mauve- blue. The color splattered on the heel detail, as if it was applied with a leaking spray gun. It's not a real splatter, but it's the design. It's a strange mix of mud-colored pigment splattered here and there. br>br>Heel Flippy Things (Heel Flippy Things) (Heel Flippy Things) (Heel Flippy Things) (He A rubber flap runs from the back of the heel to the back of the shoe. 500 bananas (approximately 12 M) Ms). What do you think? ) This rubber flap is some sort of "Design feature" that improves your marathon times dramatically or something. It grabs little bits of rock, stick, and bug poo and flips it up into the ankle cuff of my shoes for me, a guy walking around on a ranch. At worst, bug poop down your socks is an annoyance, but it is still an annoyance. Despite the disadvantages listed above, I give them a five-star rating. , if for no other reason than that they simply FIT. 'Murican, these shoes cost 160 clams. They are noticeably more comfortable than the $100 or $60 style NB shoes I wear in the same size, despite the fact that my feet aren't the same size as yours.
I'm 6'1" and weigh 250 pounds, and I'm a shoe snob. This has a lot of cushion and a lot of stability, which is perfect for a big guy. I'm going to buy more.
com! So, on a daily basis, I deliver for Amazon for anywhere from six to ten miles! It's critical to have the right sneakers on your feet. In my opinion, these NB are the best! They have excellent traction and are extremely comfortable. It's ideal for hiking and running.
If your toes are half the thickness of your usual size (I've been wearing 12 regular for 40 years), this shoe appears to be a good fit. I ordered two different versions of NB, one of which fit perfectly, just as it had done for the previous 40 years. I replied with a request for 12 in return. 5 size, same issue with larger size, toe box is too small vertically, and it presses your toes down, making it very uncomfortable.
Amazing! I have very wide feet, and finding shoes that fit well and feel good is difficult for me. These are, without a doubt, the best shoes I've ever owned! They're extremely light and provide even more cushioning. You will not be disappointed if you give them a try.
The toe box of the shoe is flat, and the mesh above the toes is very low. The mesh itself is made of a stiff material that tends to wrinkle over time. As a result, the mesh presses down on the toes as the front of the shoe bends. The root of my right foot's big toe is pressed by such a wrinkle. After a while, it begins to hurt and eventually becomes severe. br>br>I ordered a crease shield and am experimenting with different improvisations in the meantime. I could be spoiled or sensitive, but I can't wear the shoe if I don't have a good solution. I bought it so that I could enjoy exercise without suffering from pain, and so that I could look for plastic improvised foot protection. I've attached a side-by-side comparison chart. To show the difference in the toe box, here's a side-by-side comparison with the NB 1350.
These shoes are very comfortable and cushy. The small flipper on the heel takes some getting used to, but other than that, they are very comfortable right out of the box. I've started wearing these mesh New Balances because they're so comfortable on my wide, flat feet. The toes have a bit of hard rubber on them, which caused a hot spot the first couple of times I wore them, but they broke in or my feet calloused up a bit. They do absorb sweat, which is the only drawback. My feet don't smell particularly bad, but they do sweat a lot. When you sweat a lot in a shoe for 12 hours at work, it quickly develops an odor. That's the problem with all the cushions: they smell like sponges.
These provide excellent arch support, so I can work as hard as I play. I'm on my feet for 18 hours a day, carrying heavy items. My feet become sore over time, so the arch support helps to alleviate the long hours of discomfort. My feet, like their healing, are aching. I think my feet are happy with this pair and the 1080s I got.
