One disk is in the MIDDLE of the one I use at physical therapy. You won't have to get off to tip the board from front to back, then from left to right this way. It's also more difficult to balance on one disk, which is why I require this type of therapy. I was under the impression that this product had only one disk in the middle based on the photos on Amazon, so I'm not happy with my purchase. IN ADDITION, IT IS NON-PROFITABLE. GET YOUR MONEY BACK I'm not happy at all. Instead of the rocker, I should have bought the BALANCE board. But I can't give it back now! PHOTO THAT MISLEAVES! GONE ARE THE ONE HUNDRED BUCKS!

No, the top of the board does not have any markings; however, there is a texturized clear plastic surface affixed to a portion of the top that aids in foot centering. You'll know when you've "got it right" if you've been using this in PT.

I purchased this item because all of the photos led me to believe it was identical to the one I use in physical therapy. That is, there was only ONE DISK in the middle of the underside of the board when I opened the box, but there were TWO DISKS when I opened the box. It's a rocker board, not a balance board, and I bought it based solely on the photos. I'm sorry, but I made a mistake. The photos, on the other hand, are deceptive! If you need a balance board, you'll buy this one because it looks exactly like the pictures. If you use one like the one in the photos at PT, you'll want to buy it right away. BUT, BECAUSE IT DOESN'T MATCH THE PHOTOS, YOU WILL BE BURNED. It's also NON- 100% REFUNDABLE! SO THERE WERE ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY BUCKS LEFT. br>br>Amazon, you're not happy.
This is a fantastic piece of gear. The same board I used for physical therapy after a serious knee injury, and it allowed me to stick to my PT schedule at home. Excellent quality and provides me with the full range of motion I require for a full recovery. I would strongly advise anyone to use this board, whether they need it for physical therapy or simply to improve their balance.
I had originally purchased the round version of the same brand without realizing that it is better for ankle injuriesbr>(at least, that's what my PT told me, as it appears to matter if you're balancing yourself on one ball rather than two located beneath the board) The board has three levels that can be adjusted. I strongly advise anyone with knee problems to try it. It's also good for hips, according to what I've heard, but since that wasn't my injury, I can't say.
I'm in physical therapy for a torn cartilage in my hip, and she put me on an older Fitter model they had on hand. It puts your core and all of your muscles to the test. My entire body is warm in a matter of minutes. She explained that it's because you're using every muscle in your body. In any case, I needed one for my house. After hearing that the round one became too easy too quickly, I purchased it first. I'm 54, which I've never thought of as senior, but this one is right up my alley. I had to return the round one because it was too difficult to use, and I was too frustrated and afraid of injuring myself to use it. Haha, this one's a riot! Everything, including walking, standing, sitting, and driving, is becoming easier. This is an incredible little device.
Physical therapy in the comfort of your own home It was well worth the money! We're using it in conjunction with the OPTP Wooden Uniplane Rocker (484) to help with peripheral neuropathy. Leg balance and strength can be improved by performing exercises on these two rocker boards while using elastic bands. It has made a significant difference. These two rocker boards were initially too expensive for me, but now I see that they are well worth the money. If you have a similar peripheral neuropathy issue and need to do physical therapy exercises at home, this product is a must-have.
With a less active lifestyle, you will become aware of which muscles you are not using. At first, it's frustrating, but after about ten days, the muscles start to cooperate and balancing becomes easier. I can't say for sure, but I believe it's helped people recover from bad posture caused by years of sitting at a desk.
I am a young man who has had foot problems for a long time and has undergone physical therapy, which has greatly aided my recovery. I used the Fitter Rocker Balance Board at physical therapy and decided to order one at home to make my feet feel better. My feet have been in such excruciating pain that they have swelled to the point where I am unable to walk. As a result of the pain, I've gained weight and experienced discouragement. The Fitter Rock Balance Board is also enjoyed by my three nephews, the youngest of whom is four years old. It was in perfect condition when it arrived at my house. And after about a week of using it, my foot pain has significantly decreased; I carry it with me when I travel because it is so beneficial to my feet. And, thanks to the balance board, I am able to walk without pain; thank you for creating such a wonderful product.
It has been created. It comfortably holds my nearly 250-pound frame, with plenty of room for my large feet. I'm in physical therapy for balance issues, and this rocker board is proving to be quite difficult for me. When I'm more comfortable with it, I'll raise the height for a more difficult challenge. It has made my life so much easier and I would recommend it to anyone.
