The StrongTek professional wooden slant board is constructed from high-quality wood. Plywood, a type of strong wooden board made up of multiple real wood layers, is of high quality. The weight capacity is achieved by gluing and pressing wood layers together. Our wooden slant board is designed in the United States and manufactured in our factory overseas, and it is made of real wood, not particle board.
That seems a little excessive for this device; you're stretching your achilles tendon and calves, and you're also off balance. I lean it against a cabinet so I can lean against it from behind. If you're going to be standing on it for a long time, arm weights with movements might be a good idea, but you'll need to keep your back stable to keep your balance.
The standard slant board has a depth of 16" and a width of 12". 5" (width) and extra-large (size) 18" (depth)x16" (width) is the size of the large. As a result, either of them will fit your shoe size. br>br>How you use the slant board is entirely up to you. Squats are easy to do on the large slant board, and you can stand with your feet shoulder-width apart. the distance between them

This ramp board is a nice addition to your collection. It has a solid feel to it. The grip tape, on the other hand, was applied after the wood had been varnished or polyurethaned. This acts as a barrier, preventing the tape from adhering to the surface. br>br>As soon as I took it out of the box, it started peeling up. To try to prevent this, I put contact cement under the grip tape, but even that wasn't enough to keep the tape from sliding off the moment you step onto the box and apply a sheer force to it as your foot tries to slide down the box. br>br>If they'd been smart, they'd have applied the tape before the varnish, or applied the varnish, sanded down the areas where the tape would go, and then applied the tape. They obviously chose not to do so, and if I really wanted to put in that much effort, I could just build it myself. It's not a difficult layout.
I've had the slant board for about 18 months and it's helped me stretch my tight calves a lot. The grip strips, on the other hand, do not last long and have all fallen off. I've replaced them with the extra strips that came with the board when I bought it, but I'm running out of strips. I sent an email to the company asking how I could get more grip strips, but no one has responded. This is extremely inconvenient, as it renders the slant board useless. I would never have bought this particular board if I had known the strips were not replaceable.
I really wanted to start using the slant board for my volve workouts, but I didn't want to spend $89 before taxes on a slant board with the P. logo for volve Regardless of the fact that I had never heard of a slant board before, I did my usual Amazon search and came across this Professional one. I got it in less than three days, which was fantastic. When I first opened the box, it was packed very securely to prevent possible damage to the product, and it was immediately obvious that this board was made of high-quality materials and is very solid! I experimented with a few different movements while recovering from a moderate ankle sprain, and I'm confident that I made the right choice. If you're looking for a solid, high-quality slant board, save your money and get this one instead!.
Four round, grippy circles have been glued to the corners as an afterthought on the bottom. One of these enigmatic items was discovered on the kitchen floor (where the package had been unboxed). It took a long time for me to figure out what it was and where it came from. I placed the board on the living room carpet, let it slid around uncomfortably, and then discovered another of those mysterious circles. Aha! So they turned what should have been a great product into one that could be a legal liability due to carelessness/foolish economics. br>br>I fixed the problem by taping the bottom runners with grippy tape. That was a significant improvement. , but it should not be the customer's responsibility to "fix" such basic issues that should not have arisen in the first place. br>br>Once that's taken care of, the slant board's only disadvantage is its weight. I doubt most people who would buy one of these would have trouble wrangling a few pounds of wood, but it might be a problem for some. The adjustment for increasing the board's slant is simple; it's easier to raise the slant than to lower it. But it won't be a difficult task. Perhaps I shouldn't have docked two stars for the wacky rubber circles' inability to function, but it smacks of sloppy shortcuts with no regard for the consequences. However, it is a simple problem for them to solve, or for the customer to solve.
The other two boards were of a lower quality. One was too small for my wider stance, and the other broke as soon as I stepped on it (not the strong tek brand). You're wasting your time if you try to find something less expensive; get this one instead! br>br>Anyway, I purchased the extra large board because I've been going to physical therapy and they have a nice solid board like this, and I really wanted one for home. I'm a marathon runner who also works 12-hour shifts on my feet, and I'm currently suffering from severe plantar fasciitis, which prevents me from fully training. I'm having trouble getting a deep calf stretch to relieve the pain, and I'd like to be able to stretch multiple times a day so that I can get back on track. br>br>Inside the box, this board was beautifully wrapped in bubble wrap. I knew this was it as soon as I opened the box. The wood is extremely durable, and the workmanship is excellent. The black grippy tape appears to be well affixed (contrary to what other reviewers have said) and is ideal for keeping your feet firmly planted on the board; the size is ideal for those with a wider stance. I believe that assuming your natural stance while stretching and stabilizing is the key to success. br>br>For scale, I'm wearing a size 9 women's shoe, a medium banana, and a cable remote. In addition, I demonstrated how well the board's hinges are constructed. The board's base features nice grippers to keep it from sliding around on whatever surface you're using it on. br>br>This board has been thoroughly examined by my cat Lola, who has passed all of the required tests.
I don't have time to return it for a replacement, so I'll try to repair it as best I can. I'm not happy with the nearly $60 I paid for it. Another manufacturer, in my opinion, would be a better option. Also, there is gummy sawdust on the bottom and edges of the table, which has made its way into my carpet. Simply put, it was a huge letdown.
