If you only need a litter box, I recommend Oxbow Animal Health Eco-Friendly Cat Litter Box. Straw Litter (also available on Amazon) because it is safe to eat. You can look for bunny litter pellets on the internet. I wouldn't use this because there are several recycled paper pellets that would be fine. This could be ingested by small bunnies. I'm a veterinary nurse with a license to work with animals. This may result in a blockage in the intestines. If you need bedding, Carefresh and Kaytee both make excellent paper bedding that bunnies, guinea pigs, rats, and other small animals adore. They like to nest and burrow in it because it's nice and soft. You'll be fine if you stay away from cedar chips all around, but this corncob litter won't digest, and I'm afraid that even if there's a small chance she'll chew on it... bunnies like to chew. As a veterinary professional, I believe it would be negligent of me not to warn you that if she eats it, it COULD get stuck in her intestines, necessitating surgery. Even if it's a remote possibility, this should be left to the bird cages. There are some safer alternatives for your new bun bun. Take pleasure in her presence. Bunnies are a great source of entertainment.

The last time I ordered it, it smelled like mold, and I had to throw out the entire bag because mold is toxic to birds. A refund was issued to me. How awful it is to be so fed up with receiving subpar goods. What if someone isn't aware that mold can be harmful to birds and other small animals? The all-powerful dollar is at the center of everything.
Because of the positive feedback on this product, I decided to purchase it. My Rabbit's urine didn't soak up in the bedding, so the corner of her cage where she likes to go potty was soaked. Then it combined with her feces to form a foul sludge. Every other day, I clean her cage, and she's a tidy little rabbit. I'm dissatisfied with this product, and now I'm stuck with a large bag that I can't use. I switched to a mixture of "Kaytee Soft Granule Blend" and Lavender. It is an excellent item. Keeps the odor at bay while also soaking up the urine for easy cleanup. This brand is still my favorite; it is the best on the market. It's just that the Kob Bedding isn't one of them.
I'll start by saying that my bird cage has a grate in the bottom so my birds can't get to it and eat it; however, you DO NOT want your birds to eat this! In the bottom of the cage, however, I really enjoy it. Because it traps the seeds and feathers better than newspaper, less of it flies out when they fly around the cage. It's also very simple to clean the cage; simply empty and wipe the tray, refill, and you're done.

This product has exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it for any stinky animal bedding requirements. br>br>Another thing to keep in mind is that I add some softer bedding to this because my mice don't like sleeping on this by themselves. Your critters might not mind, but a single shredded paper towel or a handful of soft bedding material makes my mice very happy while also reducing odors.

I've been using crumbled paper litter for my finches' cage and haven't been happy with it because it didn't absorb odor well and I was cleaning their cage far too frequently, but it was recommended to me by a reputable pet store. While browsing Amazon to see what they had to offer and to order my regular baby supplies, I came across this Kay Kob Bedding and all of the positive reviews and statements made by customers who had tried it, so I decided to start with the 8lb bag and give it a shot. This bedding is absolutely incredible. I'll never use anything else to keep my finches in their cage. I'm about to place an order for a larger tote. No odor. I don't spend all of my time cleaning their cage. It is a big hit with my kids. I would strongly advise anyone who has birds to use this bedding. IT'S EXTREMELY EXCELLENT!.
So, for bird owners, I'd give it 5 stars! The litter itself has no odor, which is a big plus for birds, and it's safe to use on the bottom of my parrots' cage, under the grating. It collects his waste and clumps it, as well as catching any good that falls to keep it from rotting. Scooping it out would be simple if his play stand had been designed differently. As it stands, I simply dump and scrub it. It's wonderful to have something natural and safe to use that is free of dust and unpleasant odors. Birds will love these products. Finches, canaries, and parakeets have all benefitted from it.
This product has been used as cat litter in special litter pans for the past 42 years. I like it because I can flush the feces and urine down the toilet and discard the used cobs whenever I need to. Every two weeks, I change the litter for my four house cats. It takes a little more effort than using a regular litter pan and litter, but I believe it is more environmentally friendly.
