The white bedding can be hit or miss on softness, so it's possible that the white bedding could be the same. I got this bag similar to when I get a bag of that white stuff that was "rough. ". In any event, the white bedding was not available in larger sizes, which led me to try this instead. It is probably safer than the white bedding, since it is not bleached. But I'm not worried because my hamster seems to enjoy it. Using the cage is easy and cleaning it is easy as well. haven't decided whether I will purchase this type of ostrich again or go back to the white. Availability and price will most likely determine whether it is worthwhile. The performance of these devices, for the most part, is interchangeable. As of now, I would say it is a little less soft than the white.

When I was a kid, I used to buy this product at big-name pet shops. It's great that I found it on Amazon at a lower price. There is no better stuff out there and it lasts a lifetime. The half of one bag I purchased last December still remained after I bought two bags. As well as being less messy than other litter, it also absorbs odors and liquids well and is of Subscribe and save was a good idea, but because the subscriptions lasted so long, I changed the frequency. I like it when it's clean too so I let my kitten lounge in it.

I will never buy this product again since it was such a disappointment. It is more absorbent to use a party streamer instead of I have been purchasing Carefresh bedding for the last couple of years. It works extremely well but is very dusty despite its claim of 99% dust-free. I have been looking for alternative bedding options for my dwarf hamster since it has been experiencing dust problems. Based on the reviews I read about several brands and the fact there are no perfect beddings, I decided to give this one a try. OH MY GOD! What a mistake that was. I had to clean the cage out after just TWO days because it smelled so bad. There is a huge problem with odor control with this product! As much as my dwarf hamster loves to burrow under his bedding, the bedding is so thin and non-absorbent that when it gets near his water bottle it gets soaked wet, and tiny pieces get stuck in the metal ball bearing that has been installed Paper bedding has never caused leaks of this kind, something which never happens with other types. It was a daily accident that the bedding around the water bottle would become sopping wet every single day that it had to be replaced. The product is less dusty than Carefresh pet bedding, but don't get suckered by the fact that it is virtually nonabsorbent and that it has no odor-control. It is because of this factor that I will not recommend this product.

Our Guinea pigs were using paper bedding, which was quite expensive, so I ordered this product in hopes of finding a less expensive alternative. It immediately stood out to me as different than anything I'd seen before- The paper seemed thinner, there were pieces that appeared smaller (though technically they may not have been smaller), and it was a lot messier. The first thing that came to mind was that it probably wouldn't did never get a chance to check for those aspects of the product, however, because the guinea pigs consumed it very quickly, which they did not do with our regular brand. I did not want to risk leaving it in the cage and must immediately discard it. There was too much risk of an emergency visit to the vet to justify the lower cost. Despite the positive reviews, I will never purchase this product again due to the negative experience I had with my dog.

Mice have very sensitive respiratory systems, so we own seven of them. This paper bedding is ideal for people who do not like perfume or too much dust in their bed. In addition, it has a very good ability to absorb odor. It is loved by mice and is used for burrowing and nesting. This is an easy product to clean. I clean two tanks out once a week with the large bag we have and it lasts us very long. Sometimes it is fun to buy the other colors as well, but the neutral brown color and the extra large size really make this the best value.
