Extremely overpriced. I wish I had looked closer; for a lower price, you can get a larger bag at PetSmart. The easy swipe on Amazon always gets me into trouble.
If you can, give yourself 48 hours, and if you can, give yourself a week. Don't think about it, just do it. Your small furry friends may get mites, which isn't fun, as you should with any bedding, even if you buy it at Petsmart. (If you already know this, skip ahead. ).
This is one of my rat's favorites. I like the confetti color the best because he looks so happy and funny burrowing in it and looking at me, squeaking, with a clump on top of his head and eating a treat. This stuff fluffs up a lot, is extremely absorbent, fights odor better than anything else I've ever seen, and is better than anything else I've ever seen. I was aware that cedar and pine mixes produce a fungus that is harmful to pets, so when I rescued The Dude, I threw out everything he had and immediately hooked him up.
This is the ugliest bedding I've ever seen. It's extremely brittle and difficult to work with. Unfortunately, I had already thrown away my hamster's old bedding, so I had no choice but to use this! It's meant to be stretchy and soft. The saying goes that a little goes a long way, but this was barely enough for one cage!.
This is something we've used for years with our dwarf hamster. We adore it, and our hamster enjoys burrowing in it and moving it around her cage on different levels. It really helps with odor!.
This bedding is perfect for my guinea pig, and I love it.
Because the picture was pink, I paid more than Walmart's price, and I just received a purple and blue package, so I'm not sure why it's more expensive now.
This is something I bought for my daughter's gerbil, and she absolutely adores it. She fiddles with it and separates it according to her sleeping preferences.
