It is not recommended for very fuzzy bunnies because it adhered to every hair fiber and produced a lot of "dust" that I was afraid would harm her lungs. It might work better with the reptile's smooth skin, but the tiny particles could still be eaten or inhaled. It is, however, extremely colorful!

I bought this product, and it is extremely hard and not soft at all. I assumed I had received a defective product, so Amazon sent me a replacement, which had the same problem. Don't waste your money; I went with the blue. My refund is being held hostage by Amazon! I returned it to them and even provided them with a UPS tracking number; I contacted Amazon, who said "it could take up to two weeks. " " I've never had to wait that long for a refund, especially for a damaged or defective item; terrible customer service.
It was extremely dry and difficult to work with. This isn't the kind of thing I'd get at a pet store. Very let down. I won't be buying anything else. Instead of fluffy absorbent material, it felt more like cardboard. Isn't at all soft.
With this stuff, a little goes a long way- It's squished down in the bag, so one small bag lasts a long time, and it doesn't itch my rats like wood shavings and other things do. It's also not stinky, which is a major plus in my book.
There are some things that you don't compare prices on. Trash bags, laundry detergent, and hamster bedding, as I've discovered. This product outperforms the generic by a long shot. It produces significantly less dust than the other product, and it lasted a week between changes with only spot cleaning and no odor. The generic, on the other hand, is a completely different story. In the hamster cage, it's also cute. It is a favorite of our hamster, who enjoys burrowing in it and moving it around.
Well, this was sent as free bedding, but it's extremely rough, not fluffy, and feels like crushed cardboard, not like the Carefresh bedding I usually buy in stores. It's also bad for burrowing- Sticking to kaytee is not a good idea.
My chinchillas' litterboxes are cleaned with Carefresh. I usually use the white because it allows me to see where they peed more easily. This is a lovely blue shade that also works. Bunnies and chinchillas will love this litter. It's a lot more absorbent than pine shavings, and it's also a lot less messy.
My family recently grew by two ferrets, and they were not fond of the litter I purchased. This is the type of bedding they were used to, so I bought some and had it delivered. I'm glad I read the reviews because I would have been completely perplexed if I hadn't. I ordered a 10 liter bag but received a 6 liter bag instead. It's 6L with a 10L capacity, and the bedding/litter is tightly packed. To begin with, I'm not sure how much it expands. Although it claims to be dust-free, there was a lot of dust floating around in the box as I was filling it up. My poor ferrets had been sneezing all night because of it. It also has a strong chemical odor that didn't smell natural at all; luckily, I only had to use it a few times before they became accustomed to my litter. I wouldn't recommend this for ferrets (they require a lot of odor control), but it appears to be a popular choice in pet stores. They had a lot of fun with it and took it everywhere with them. I believe there are better options available for whatever animal you have.
There's nothing fluffy about this. For the price, you don't get much. The picture of the package makes it appear as if you are getting a decent amount, but depending on how big your setup is, this may only be enough for one and a half uses. I'm not going to purchase it again.
