My bunny has a lot of toys, but she prefers these mats to everything else. She goes after them with admirable zeal, and they keep her entertained for days. This is an excellent purchase. However, I have to place them in her litter box because she forgets to use it when she's playing with them.
I like how much you get for your money, and my bunny enjoys tearing it up as well. While some of the information in this listing is incorrect, it is still worth checking out. Because these are made of dry straw, which is devoid of nutrients, you should only give them to your bunny in small amounts. Bunnies should have access to either a large x-ray machine or a large x-ray machine, according to the description. a fenced-in area or a safe open area where they can run around. When my bunny has plenty of room to run around, he has the most fun.
My buns, on the other hand, were unaware that they were meant to be eaten and ate them instead. One noticed it after I wet it down, and she felt much relief from the heat while sitting on it, but she, too, ate hers after it cooled off: (Man with bunnies. ) It's ok. 2 didn't even make it to the end of the day. The first one lasted about two minutes. So far, it has been 5 days. I'm not sure I'll buy them again, but I'll give it a shot. The cost of one straw bale is $5. I have no idea how many mats that will result in. But I'm glad I gave these a shot. For the more refined buns, this is an excellent choice.
In my hamster cage, I have two of these mats. They were the perfect fit for his platform. I like that he isn't walking around on a piece of plastic. This is the platform, just in case you didn't know. His cage has more than 600 inches of floor space, which is the minimum requirement for Syrian hamsters. Hamsters have a right to be treated with respect.
These grass mats are very attractive to me. Some have been ripped apart by my bunny. I've put puppy pee pads on the bottom of his cage now, with straw on top to keep him from chewing puppy pads, and it's been working great. If the bunny has an accident outside the liter box, I simply collect the puppy pad and place another one on the floor!.
It keeps them chewing (which is good for their teeth) while also preventing them from chewing on everything else!.
Matts turned out to be a little smaller than I had anticipated. It was my own fault because I didn't take any accurate measurements. Place some in the play pen area of my Bunny. He ignored them for the first week or so, then I noticed he was nibbling on them, but mostly just scratching them apart and forming a mass. For my rabbit, it served primarily as a sloppy toy. I probably won't buy them again, but I suppose it depends on why you're buying them. For a smaller animal, the situation might be different.
Bun peed on the branded product, making it unappealing and uneatable. These three mats have been eaten and torn up by Bun, so I'll be purchasing more. I love that these mats ensure that buns will not go hungry if the hay food runs out.
