This is probably great for hooves, but after about ten days of giving it to my 9-year-old buckskin gelding, he began to exhibit behavior issues that he had not previously displayed. My gelding is the sweetest and most lovable horse you'll ever meet. He is patient, kind, and eager to help others, and he genuinely cares about them. He began nipping at me after about 10 days when I brushed him, did his hooves, and put his girth on him. Nothing has changed other than the fact that he had never done anything like that before. He bit me twice after 14 days of this, which surprised me and made me wary of him. He's in perfect health and leads a wonderful life with plenty of attention - Only stalled when there are too many flies, too much heat, or too much rain. He is provided with excellent hay and clean drinking water. etc. , etc. , etc. br> While giving him a massage, a professional equine masseuse inquired as to whether I had changed his diet.
