No, their glowing is purely decorative and cannot be used as a source of illumination. It doesn't produce as much light as a light bulb.
My rocks last three hours, but this appears to be determined by the amount of light absorption and the quality of that light.
Some of the pieces have a stone-like texture, but the overall effect is smooth.
br>Dear Customer, Please charge them for at least 5 minutes evenly using Bright Light or Sunlight. Then they will glow in the dark, with a longer charge and a brighter shine; if you need more information, please watch the demo video. br>Foneeus Team br>br>br>br>br>br

For my son's betta fish bowl, this was an excellent purchase. My son is content, and the fish is as well. I wish there had been a few more in the package, but it was a good buy overall. They are sufficiently thick and cleanable. Allowing them to sit in the sun is necessary to make them glow.
You don't have to be concerned that these rocks won't glow because they DO! br>When they arrive, they are packaged in a 5. 5 by 8. 5 snap-open and snap-close plastic case There's no way I'll be able to stack and arrange some of the rocks back into the case once I remove them from it. br>My wife used these to decorate beneath a few succulents, and when the lights are turned off, the rocks that are exposed to the sunlight during the day have a nice teal glow. I can't say how long the glow lasts because I only see it when I'm heading upstairs to bed at night.
I'm looking forward to putting them all in my fish tank. They have a much brighter glow than I expected. I haven't attempted to time how long they glow, but they appear to glow fairly well. Especially when charged in the sun or under UV light. I'll definitely be purchasing more of these in the future.
They are just buoyant enough to stay on the bottom (if you use the good ones). I noticed that some floated and others sank, making them useless for aquarium rocks. However, they would look great in a planter or vase for flowers. It is not suitable for fish. I only used 5 of the 100 that were included in the package. I would not recommend it.
I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN, AND I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. IF YOU DO NOT WANT FLOATING PEBBLES IN YOUR FISH TANK, THAT IS. THESE ARE DESERVING OF A NEGATIVE STAR.
They don't change color or glow in the dark like the listing claims.
Yes, they're light and easy to clean, and they're not too heavy for your tank. Isn't the price also fantastic? "I believe I will require a second pack. " Snow is very pleased with his new surroundings.
I just use them in, on, and around special decor setups; I put them in little tea light candle holders and then put a little solar light on top of it that shines down and illuminates them; they light up on their own when it gets dark; they're lovely.
