Questions & Answers
The answer is not relevant to your question, but I am very pleased with them. If I recall, they weigh a little more than a pound.
Basically, it's a couple of pairs ranging from small about 3" x 3" x 2", to about a large 6" x 6" x 6". If they were piled up, they would stack nicely.
So long as there are no air pockets inside, they will sink. I think it would make sense to place some gravel or sand inside to help keep them stable. There is a chance that you could have a wave maker or a powerful filter in your aquarium, making it harder for currents or even larger fish to move Previous to starting my current tank, I had african cichlids in it. As for me, I have never really experienced an issue Having said that, I hope this was helpful.
You can put them in saltwater tanks without fear of contaminating them. Don't forget to thoroughly rinse and let them airdry before putting them into your aquarium, just as you would for any new item you add.

Considering all that there is to do at the Cichlid Stones/Caves, it's hard to dislike them. This review has a lot of negative reviews which is kind of surprising Having been an aquarist for over 25 years specializing in freshwater, South American fish, these resin rocks are pretty much the perfect decorative element to add to your aquarium and provide your fish with all the nooks and crannies they could possibly desire. Shelter for your more passive tank mates is essential, and the hidey-hole-style tank is perfect for that. These caves create the perfect holes. You can build a wall feature by scattering them, or pile them haphazardly - whatever your fancy. The results will be great whichever you choose. This big box is a steal at its current price Even so, you are unlikely to need all of them unless you have a bare 100-gallon tank. I did it in 48 hours!
Oh, and it was delivered! The manufacturer offers excellent blinds service!.
I am in awe! They are very good quality for the price. I have a 75G and my cichlids love them because they don't get aggressive. The best way to keep mbuna cichlids is by buying these! It was somewhat frustrating that each stone had its own sticker on it, and it took me a long time to remove some of them. However, it was worth it in the end. They appear to be much smaller in the picture than they actually are, but they have a wide range of large and small stones and they'll definitely fit when they're fully grown.
A paint that is black cannot be healthy for fish. I will not take the risk of painting my fish this color. There are lots of things in my ceramic cave that are useless and this is ridiculous.
This is a very unique It is for a tank of Lake Tanganyika cichlids that we purchased them originally. The caves will still be used in other tanks even though we went in a different direction. While some caves did have small chips in them, likely from the shipping process, they do not detract from the look or use of the caves at all. The number of caves included and the variety of sizes that are available make this a great value for the price.
Several of my fish enjoy them, and I'm glad there are big ones as well. Additionally, they look very nice in the tank, not cheap at all as I originally To keep myself and my fish happy in my 55 gallon tank, I ordered a second box that has hiding spots for them to stay in. The Texas holey rocks add great realism to the tank and a choice fish likes them more than the Texas holey rocks.
This stone looks much more natural than the usual round cichlid cave because it provides a much more natural look to the aquarium. Since they looked like they might in the pictures, I also hoped that the color of this rock would match the Imagitarium Creature Comforts Rock "towers" I purchased from Petco previously. As much as I'd like to think they do, they do not, but I still think they look good together and I In addition to the fish, they also like them!.
My favorite part about this product is the packaging. I took photos of the product but I think this product won't let me upload them. The 15 pieces arrived in a box filled with bubble wrap and individual boxes. Each of them was in perfect condition. The sand felt a little gritty, so I soaked them in treated water before putting them in the tank. I give these to my fish all the time. Cichlids come in a range of sizes, meaning that each one will fit in a special aquarium. The more fish I get, the more excited I am. A set of 15 will probably be enough for my 36gal bowfront, and I probably could get another set. I like how the new decor brightens up my tank compared to the old one. There is a I think that my light looks really cool because of its glow feature. This is how I always make the rocks look like they've been there for a long time. I also sprinkled gravel over the rocks and they look great!.
I really like these and they work well. Ideal for fish of all sizes due to different sized openings. We would not hesitate to buy it again if given the chance.
