Despite the advertisement, it was not a thermometer geared specifically to dogs. In this case, the distributor/seller accompanied the product with instructions on how to use it for dogs. I immediately went to the distributor/seller but was told it was for people only. It was inaccurate in my opinion.

This would be great for my dog. It can be difficult to get an accurate reading, keeping the dog still enough. I are able to obtain close readings of 89 and 104 consecutively. It's easy to read, but it takes a while to learn to use, and it won't automatically go to your favorites No contact can be made so nothing can be touched.

The first one I ordered has been replaced by this one. The device did not work, so I assumed it might have just been defective, so I double checked I was performing the process correctly. It is the same as the previous one. Whenever we go outside, it is usually a few degrees too cold or too hot. I guess I will just throw it out since it is outside the return window. As for accuracy, it gets a 0 out of 10.
