Simply type in "zoo med" into your search engine. I contacted them only a few weeks ago because the pump on a waterfall I purchased from a local pet store had failed. I didn't have the receipt, so I emailed Zoo Med directly, and they sent me a free replacement pump.
That is not the type of incubator I would use. They sell other items that would be more suitable for that purpose. Simply type zoo med into the Amazon search box to see all of their products. I have seven of that product, and it has been accurate for several months. Even putting in new batteries is a good idea. My temperatures were off, which I discovered when I used another product. My sulcata was pacing, which she does only if her temperature range is out of whack.
We don't think it's meant to be submerged in water, but it should be fine if sprayed with a mister. Humidity probes need to dry out after becoming saturated in order to function properly.

Warranty information has been updated. I contacted the seller and requested a replacement under Zoo Med's warranty, but no response was received. I sent Zoo Med an email with a screenshot of my order and a photo of the unit, and they said they would send me a replacement the next day. br>br>Ordered on March 20, and it became defective on May 16. I removed and replaced the battery with no effect. See pic. I've contacted the seller to request a replacement under the Zoo Med warranty, and I'll keep you updated.
I compared this thermometer/hygrometer combination to two different accurate temperature/humidity gauges, and the difference was only a fraction of a degree/percentage. It's great to have a cost-effective and reliable combination for my ball python.
This is simply not true. The humidity meter is off by a factor of ten. My fog machine wasn't working and the humidity gauge said 2010% humidity. I restarted my fog machine and it still said 2010 when my snake was completely hot boxed again. I threw it out. I'd look around or at the very least get one without wires, as they were a pain. I'd imagine that wires like these are comparable to headphone wires in terms of quality and durability, which could be why this gauge was broken.
For measuring my bonsai terrarium for a month, this worked perfectly. The temperature gauge, on the other hand, is stuck at 58 degrees Fahrenheit, and nothing appears to be working to fix it. br>My house is above 70 degrees Fahrenheit, with the outside temperature hovering around 80 degrees Fahrenheit. I'm not sure why it's 90 degrees in my terrarium, which is directly in front of a sunny window. br>br>Also, one of the suction cups I received was wrinkled and curled to the point where it didn't even stick to the glass. It would be even better if it had a backlight so that you could read the temperature at night. br>br>**Updated review on 07/04/21br>br>I messaged the company about the problem and received a prompt response and a replacement today. It currently works flawlessly in reading both of them. I'm hoping it lasts a while longer.
Untrustworthy: For a few days, this product was accurate. I tried it out in our vivariums for dart frogs, which require precise temperature and humidity monitoring. So we compared it to a few other meters we already own to see if it was reading accurately, which it wasn't. I'm not going to buy any more of these! I would not recommend this product to anyone who has terrariums or vivariums and needs to keep a close eye on the temperature and humidity for the health and safety of their pets. It's simply untrustworthy!.
This is a reasonably priced temperature and humidity gauge, but it is not without flaws. One of the suction cups does not adhere to the surface at all, but the others are perfect and hold well. The temperature gauge is fairly accurate (I tested it with my infrared heat gun), but the humidity probe is reading 89-90 percent relative humidity. When I can see it is dry in the terrarium, I get 99% readings. I haven't had much luck with humidity measuring devices, and none of them come close to the one I've tested and trust. It is affordable due to the low price, but the readings are disappointing. It was also a little difficult to Macguyver a suction cup for the other probe.
The item is completely unresponsive. I tried the battery that came with the package and even went out and bought some new ones to experiment with. It won't turn on any longer. When I attempt to return the item, it informs me that it is not returnable. I wouldn't buy this product here if I didn't know what I was getting myself into.
I don't think the humidity or temperature readings are correct. The temperature is off by 15 degrees even with a humidifier on and when put next to my other dial thermometer. All of the wires irritate me as well. In order to keep the wires where they needed to be in my ball python's tank, I had to use scotch tape. If I hadn't thrown out all the packaging, I would have returned.
