The actuate readings I got when I first got it may have been a fluke as they can never exceed 96 now

The unit works and is accurate, but the packaging does not match the picture. The box does not state that it is for pets at all, so at first I thought I may have received the incorrect product. The time it takes to place a thermometer in a given animal's anus for 20 seconds seems short, yet it is quite a long time. My knowledge of this company has led me to believe that they make pet-friendly thermometers that only last for 10 seconds.

In exchange for my honest review, I was reimbursed for the purchase of this thermometer. I honestly don't know what it is. When I compare the thermometer on this site with the two I have currently at home, it seems quite accurate when I take my temperature. With my temperature taken in less than 20 seconds, I'm done. As far as a basic thermometer goes, it has what one needs, and I'd recommend it to friends and family as a good value for the price.

It is impossible for me to use it, therefore in my opinion it is a terrible app. My helper is coming Friday, but I won't be able to get the batteries until I'm well enough to do so. This is definitely not something I would recommend! I don't think it deserves a single star if it is supposed to work when you receive it and doesn't. There is nothing I can tell my vet over the phone because my dog is so sick I don't even know his temperature.

The first few days went well. In order to determine the temperature of my dame as she gave birth, I used it. However, the speaker failed to work and has since stopped beeping. However, it is not a big deal because the overall device continues to work.

I bought a thermometer at one of the larger pet stores but, when I got home, I found it had celsius only, and that it took a long time for the result to beep. I went on to Amazon to purchase I feel so much better now. Whether it was Fahrenheit or Celsius, the results were very quick and my dog was very satisfied with them. It would have been better to start at Amazon.

It took me about 40 minutes. After 50 seconds I settled on 99 for the temperature. I am not sure about the accuracy, but it's good enough for me. As opposed to pressing my dog for the actually more preferred 100 degrees, I chose to stress him at 8 F The temperature is 102 degrees Fahrenheit. However, I was not certain just how far I should insert the thermometer because of its flexible tip. When my veterinarian sees me at the next appointment, I will ask him to check the accuracy of the insertion and show me the depth.
