Chicken products are very often present in dog food, so it is very hard to find dog food without them. It is impossible for my dog to eat chicken because of a skin allergy. On their old packaging and on Amazon, no chicken or chicken by-products were listed as original ingredients, but they now list them as such. Their ingredients have recently changed and it's a very disappointing change. Canola oil has been replaced with chicken fat and it ranks high on the ingredients list. I will not feed it to my fur baby. Its holistic qualities and good customer reviews convinced me to purchase this food. It has been a while since I have bought Maltese foods for my little Maltese and I wanted to try a healthier option without grains, etc. I always have some of the items stored in a separate container I keep in my kitchen cabinet and Additionally, I do the same thing with the cat food I feed to my cat and have never had any mold issues. I ordered two bags of treats and my dog ate the first one. Rather than continue to buy food, I ordered a second bag and stored it at the same place My little one did not seem to like it at all from the beginning. Over time, he ate less and less of it until he couldn't eat it at all. My horror was revealed a week after I fed it to him, there was a mold at the bottom of the container that looked like peanut butter.
