This one has a delicate digestive system. skin. turkey is used in this dish.
Like most cat food, the kibble from Iams is small. I'm not sure how it stacks up against Purina's in terms of size. My cats enjoy chewing on it, especially Lucky, who only has a few teeth.
Our "best by" dates are 12 months after the manufacture date. Each bag will have a batch code and a "best by" date stamped on the front face, usually near the top of the bag.
My cat is obese, but not as a result of Iams. We're the ones who make things happen. We feed her to keep her quiet because she is a very vocal child. I'm aware that this is a bad habit of mine. Although Iams is a good brand, read the nutrition labels on the various cat foods. Some are much higher in calories than others, and if you want your cat to gain weight, you'll want one with a lot of calories.

We have an older cat who is sensitive to his food and will frequently cough it up after consuming it. We've tried a few different kinds, and this one seems to be the most effective for him. He likes the taste, and we made the mistake of leaving this bag on the ground when we first bought it, and despite having a bowl of Purina One nearby, he tore a hole in the side of the bag to get a taste! lol.
I have eight cats, and they were occasionally becoming ill from their old food, so I decided to give this a try. My house is covered in puke and diarrhea. I don't just mean anywhere. It had engulfed my entire bed. This was supposed to be for sensitive stomachs, and because it was a well-known brand, I assumed it would be worth the money. This is something I would never do to my poor children again.
I've always fed Iams to my cats, usually the indoor kind for hairballs, but one of them developed tummy problems, so I switched to this kind. I combined the two types to help them get used to the new one, as I didn't want to aggravate their digestive problems, and VOILA! The issue has been resolved! Those dreaded piles that look too much like your carpet for you to know not to step in them began to vanish almost overnight! One of my friends has two cats, one of whom has skin problems. 1 had a tummy ache, so I gave her a portion of a bag to try on. She's a firm believer in it as well. For those little hairy beasts who give us so much love, it's well worth a slightly higher price!.
This food has made a huge difference in their lives! Their fur is thick and soft, and the patches of irritated skin on their bodies have healed completely. Because of his tummy problems, one of the cats used to nap a lot, but now he is very playful and active, which is wonderful to see. I'm grateful that finding the right food for them was all that was required. (Btw. Other cats in the house don't require a special diet, but they all eat and enjoy this food now. Their fur is noticeably softer and thicker across the board. ).
She went to the vet for a dental when this started and had no problems, was in perfect health (did a panel), was active, and still played like a kitten, but she couldn't eat all of her regular food. She was able to consume Fancy Feast as well as 2- 4 snacks. Greenies, Party Mix, and other similar foods can be consumed without becoming ill, but Temptations, Friskies, and Purina hard food are no longer available. My other cat couldn't eat regular hard food, so he eats Science Diet Sensitive Stomach, which made her sick as well. But this? I gave her too much for the first meal, when any food change should be done in small amounts first, and her stomach was upset as a result, but she has been fine since then, and her poops are perfectly formed. Give this a try if you've tried the other brands. I'm not sure why each of them can eat certain foods but not others; for example, the Science Diet cat can eat Friskies without issue but only two at a time. There are four snacks as well.
It's possible that it's a food allergy, according to the veterinarian. We tried a lot of different foods before finding this one, and within a week, all of our stomach problems were gone, and we weren't peeing blood! This stuff is amazing, and every cat should be using it. Our Bubba is back to his old self, and he's feeling fantastic!.
My 2yo cat has 25% morning puking issues 25% of mornings 4a- 99% of the time a a a a a a a a a% br>This food would have tripled, if not more, that amount. This used to be his primary source of nourishment. after a ten-day period of two five-minute intervals During the day, he gradually adjusts his diet. For five days in a row, he puked EVERY MORNING. br>I immediately switched to an all-wet food diet, and he has puked ZERO TIMES since THAT DAY, which was about 3 weeks ago. br>This food should be avoided. I've come across a lot of reviews that are similar to yours. I assumed that people had cats with untreated problems. br>After several visits to the veterinarian, my cat was diagnosed with Billous Vomitting Syndrome (basically, his stomach gets upset VERY EASILY), which was NOT good for him. br>IAMS is top-notch; he raved about their kitten food. I didn't have any problems until I switched to their indoor formula at the age of a little over a year. That's when things got a little hairy. IAMS is great for a lot of cats, but I'm not sure how'sensitive' this is. If it weren't for my guy, I wouldn't be where I am today.
I'm the proud owner of two feline companions: They're both ridiculously fussy, and the skinny one tends to vomit if she eats too fast. This food seems to be okay with both of them, at least for now. one who is so sweet, loving, and obese but shouldn't be because she doesn't eat all that much (she has my metabolism) and an older cat who is skinny and has a very sensitive stomach and only loves my husband They don't inhale it, but they do eat it over the course of the day, which is better for digestion. Then again, they'll both decide they don't like it at some point, because they do this with EVERYTHING! The only food they eat on a regular basis is junk food that is bad for them and causes them to vomit. I'm not going to give in to that! I won't!.
