Questions & Answers

Is there anything from China in the recipe? What are the sources of ingredients?

There are no ingredients from China, according to the label on the package.

Is there any grain in this?

No, it has whole grain corn in it. If your dog has a grain allergy, look for grain-free products; otherwise, the small amount of grain (listed as item 4) will cause no harm to any creature on the planet, and in fact is a good source of many beneficial nutrients.

How long does the bag last for a 70-pound dog who gets four cups per day?

Hmm, all I can say is that a 28-pound bag will last me about six months. 7 weeks of feeding 5 cups of coffee per day is the recommended amount. It's possible that it'll last you for about a year and a half. a month.

Despite the fact that it bears Ray's name, has anyone looked at the label to see where it was made? I am hoping for the United States of America. ?

Dogs are not healthy
3/5

My dog (a 35 pound pointer) seems to enjoy the taste of this food. Mix) develops painful bumps all over his body. At first, I thought it contained mostly healthy ingredients, but after doing some research and looking at the ingredients, I discovered the following, which are not only disgusting but also harmful to dogs. Pesticides, for example
3/5

I just learned that Rachael Ray's dog food contains an ingredient found in Round Up weed killer, according to a large lawsuit. We got rid of ours. For the time being, I will be purchasing Nutro.

Make sure you don't have any mold in your food
3/5

My dog has been eating this food for years, but when I went to pour food into the food container this time, I discovered that half of it was moldy. As a result, I had no choice but to discard the entire bag of food. Unfortunately, because I purchased such a large bag, I was unable to return it because the return deadline had passed.

The dog had developed a serious illness
3/5

I'll never buy Rachel Ray food again because it made my dog sick. She no longer owns the company, which she sold to Smucker's. This food is causing a lot of dogs and cats to get sick. Be careful who you buy from.

Moldy bits were strewn about the 40-pound bag
3/5

For the past few months, I'd been feeding this to my dog, and she absolutely loved it. I just got our third bag, and as I was pouring it into her bowl, I noticed something wasn't quite right. The food was slightly larger than the previous bag, and several of the larger pieces were covered in mold. I'm not sure how that happens with a sealed bag of dog food, but I can't bring myself to feed this to my dog again.

My lab was on the verge of being destroyed by this dope food
3/5

This dog food nearly killed my lab; I'm not sure what's in it, but he went from healthy to bones in a month. I switched him to Taste of the Wild, and he looks much better, but not back to what he was before this horrible dog food.

came with a sensitive stomach and so much gas that it stripped the paint off the ceiling
5/5

In September, we adopted our third retired racing greyhound, and he arrived with a very sensitive stomach and gas so bad that it ripped the paint off the ceiling! We're talking about death farts here. We tried a variety of products, including some that were sold by veterinarians for a higher price. Some people would only work for a day or two. His stools were also very loose. We're not big fans of celebrity-endorsed products, but after a friend recommended it, we tried it and were blown away. br>br>Within three days, his stools had firmed up, his gas had vanished, and he was back to his old self. He's now very regular, and his owners are ecstatic. It took two months to find the right food for him, and now he has no gas and only loose stools on occasion, which is normal. This book comes highly recommended. I've tried a few different varieties with no improvement in his digestive issues, and he goes about four times per day.

This food is a big hit with my dogs
4/5

This food is a big hit with my dogs. First and foremost, I have two dogs, one an 80-pound pitbull and the other a 20-pound mini pin/Chihuahua mix. This is a dish that they both enjoy. br>br>If you're on the fence about which dog food to buy, like I was, perhaps this will persuade you. I wish I could give them an unlimited budget, but, like most people, I don't have that luxury. We all have a spending limit, and I can't justify those $60 bags, not to mention the wet dog food, treats, and grooming. If you're looking for a low-cost, high-quality dog food, this is the place to go. It's all over now. br>br>Keep in mind that the actual food is a small kibble if you're switching from a larger kibble. My dog became overly enthusiastic and took a couple of larger bites than she normally would. Obviously, if your dog is a little more intelligent, this isn't a problem. However, if you have a hungry puppy, like me, and you're switching from large to small kibble for the first time, this is something to keep in mind. br>br>The fact that the bags are not resealable is the only reason for a 4-star rating. This may not be a problem for some, but it's worth noting if you don't have any dog food containers.
