This food is well-liked by my dogs. I combine it with Fromm dog food, which is quite expensive. Once a week, I also prepare homemade dog food. I shared a photo of my dog food that I made myself. 1 pound of ground turkey, 1 pound of ground chicken, 1 pound of minute rice, and vegetables Peary's job is simple. I put it in the freezer.
I fed my dogs a boutique grain-free food for two years and experienced a slew of issues that I can't even begin to list. Earthborn Holistic was a horror show, with depression, bloat, and a bad coat, among other things. I did some research on dog foods and this was one of the best. garbage! I've been to the veterinarian more times than I can remember. My vet advised me to go with a larger company because they invest millions of dollars in research and development, so I switched to Purina Pro Plan for small breeds and my dogs are as happy as puppies! They're happy, healthy, and haven't had any problems since eating this food, which I highly recommend!.
This is not the same as the original "Savor" from the Pro Plan. Our dog prefers shredded chicken, which isn't in it. This is extremely deceptive, because if you click "Buy it Again," you will be directed to the new kibble without any indication that the product is different (you are led to believe that it is only the packaging that is different). Even the images of the old product in my purchase history have been replaced with those of the new one, which is incorrect.
When we discovered our young dog had serious sensitive stomach issues, we were advised to use Purina Pro Plan. How serious were these issues? Petals, my 11-month-old daughter, weighs about 3 pounds. 1/2 lbs. It took her a long time to gain more than 3 pounds. This is her favorite meal. But the most important thing to me is that she was on the tiny puppy diet until I decided to switch her to the adult tiny breed last month. Petals' tummy does so well on this food, despite the fact that she is a tiny maltese. Because most tiny puppies' tummies are so delicate, and many of them have allergies, I recommend Pro Plan Focus for adult toy breeds if you have these issues. If my baby is on the sofa with me looking back into the kitchen/dining room and sees another dog even CLOSE to her playpen, she will have a full-fledged screaming fit. I like her little house a lot more than a metal crate!.
We followed the directions and switched our dog to this food. But now that he is 100% on it, he doesn t like it and refuses to eat it until he can no more . He'll eat it, but he'll always vomit it up, and it'll be too late to return it.

My wife suggested that we switch things up because they "could be bored" with the same routine. So, the moral of the story is that they are much less interested in lamb or chicken without the strips flavor. Wait until they refuse to eat it before you fix it.
It claims to be a similar new recipe, but there are no shredded chicken bits in this one. The kibbles themselves are different, and they don't have the same pleasant or fresh scent. My dog, on the other hand, despised them. She had no problem eating the previous recipe, but she refused to eat this one, so I had to switch brands. It also made her poop strange, like hard little pebbles that were smaller and more compact, and she refused to eat it with things she liked mixed in, such as white meat chicken and tuna. As a result, I won't be able to combine it with the new food. Not good. This is food you should not purchase. I'm trying to figure out how to get rid of all of my Purina products because I no longer trust the brand.
