The turkey and venison are two of our dog's favorite foods. The lamb and salmon did not appeal to her. But I believe it was the rice and pumpkin, not the meat or fish, that she disliked.
It's suitable for dogs of all sizes because it contains small pieces of natural meat as well as kibble. Perhaps not a teacup, but anyone weighing 10 pounds or more should be fine.

This metal object was discovered in my dog's food. Because it has a sharp edge, he was fortunate that he spit it out, as it could have caused serious internal damage.
Our dog became extremely ill as a result of this. Until now, I'd never had an issue.
Even in this cold, dry Winter air, their coats are stunning and their skin is flawless. I had been using grain-free Call of the Wild (Wild Salmon) for a while. I was pleased with the results of the free blend. After reading about Purina ONE SmartBlend True Instinct and looking over the ingredients, I decided to give it a try to see if it was any better than my dog's current food. I've been feeding Purina ONE SmartBlend to my dogs for two and a half months now, and I'm amazed at how much their coats and skin have improved! My dogs are absolutely stunning. They're participating in a competition. They are in great shape and are ecstatic about their new food. I couldn't be happier with the end result! This book comes highly recommended. Update! br>br> br>It's now two-thirds of the way through. I haven't written a review in a year. Purina Smart Blend Turkey is still what I feed my dogs. Venison. They still look fantastic, and they continue to enjoy this cuisine. And I'll keep buying it because the results are excellent!.
When I opened the dog food and poured it into her existing dog food, worms flew out and crawled all over the place. Not that I could have missed it, but if I had given her even a smidgeon of this worm-infested worm-infested worm-infested worm-infest I would have been furious if the food had been contaminated, and she would have become very sick as a result.
" It turns out she has a "sensitive stomach," also known as stinky gas! We were advised by the vet to buy a better dog food, and we tried many of the higher priced ones that were 100% grain free, organic, etc. We found that s We sampled all of the options before deciding on Turkey and Venison. She still got gas from the other varieties, but she hasn't had any since she started eating the Turkey and Venison Purina One. free. Our old dachshund, who has bad teeth, can eat the kibble because it is small and thin. I strongly advise you to try it!.
I work as a veterinary technician and have always been on a science diet. I met a friend who had three Labrador retrievers, ages 14, 15, and 17, a few years ago. This food had been consumed by all for a long time. I decided to give it a shot, and my dogs loved it, and the severe gas they'd been getting from other foods had vanished. I like that if I run out of something, I can just grab a small bag from the grocery store to tide us over.
Our veterinarian diagnosed him with pancreatitis, which he said is common among dogs who eat cheap dog food. He suggested a dog food without dye, which this does not contain; our dog used to eat like a bird before we switched to this brand, but now he enjoys it. Since switching him to this, his coat appears to be healthier, he has more energy, and we haven't had any diarrhea or vomiting issues.
I own two English Bulldogs and one French Bulldog, and I've tried every overpriced pet store food. I needed a food that wouldn't aggravate one of my bullies' allergies or eye problems, so I looked for something that wouldn't aggravate them. You name it, we've tried it: grain-free, limited-ingredient, salmon, breed-specific, and so on. When asked what they feed their bulldogs, I joined a Facebook group for bulldog lovers and read the comments left by owners. Of course, there are those who will jump all over anyone who does not feed a boutique food or a raw diet to their bullies, but I was surprised by how many feed Purina One Smart Blend to their bullies, so I figured why not give it a try since it is half the price and I get more product. br>TOP OF THE LINE - It is a big hit with my dogs. I was throwing away half of their food with the previous food, but now that I'm feeding this along with some Purina One moist food, they're licking their bowls clean. When feeding the more expensive foods, I also give them moist food. Even so, I'm not sure I'd be able to finish it. br>THE SECOND- My bulldog's eyes have improved. Less squinting and watery tears (he had entropian surgery, but allergies still cause his eye lids to roll inward, and the surgeon said there was nothing else we could do to reduce the swelling except give him steroids). I believe the grain-free diet was doing more harm than good to him. As a result, the food has been a true blessing in my life. br>THIRD-THIRD-THIRD-THIRD-THIRD-TH Poop is solid and not runny, whereas some of the previous foods resulted in horrible runny stools. br>Overall, I am very pleased with this food. It's not as attractive as the more expensive foods, in my opinion. That is to say, the food pieces aren't all uniformly shaped and sized. I, like my dogs, don't give a damn. To be honest, I kick myself every time I think about how many years I wasted feeding my dogs overpriced food when a better option was right in front of my eyes.
