Questions & Answers
I believe there are two buttons. One of them should be pushed forward. I don't use it very often because it's mostly useless.
There are no instructions included with this item, and I was unable to obtain them from either Sharper Image or the manufacturer. So you'll have to make educated guesses about how to use it, but it does measure steps. It may also count miles, but I have no way of knowing how to set that up without instructions. Also, if your dog swims, remove the collar. When Lucy ran through a water fall, we completely ruined it.

I bought this Sharper Image Pet-Pet-Pet-Pet-Pet Because all the other pet trackers were over $50, and this one was only $6, I used the meter. I believe I paid $6 more than I needed to. br>br>The faceplate sticker was missing from the tracker when it arrived, and it was stuck to the inside of the box. I reattached it with some glue, and it now looks fine. br>br>Then I attached the tracker to my dog's collar, pressed the reset button, and we went for a quick walk around the subdivision to see how it worked. On this short route, my fitness tracker typically records around 400 steps. Regrettably, the Pet- Only eight steps were recorded by the pedometer. We tried it a few more times and got the same results. br>br>On the plus side, when I put the Pet-It-Me-It-Me-It-Me-It-Me-It-Me The meter in my pocket counted exactly the same number of steps as my wristband tracker. I believe it should be attached to the collar rather than dangling freely to ensure accurate tracking.
There are no rules. This little gadget is pretty cool, and I like how it counts my dog's steps, but there are no instructions on how to set it up, reset it, or use the other features. I even went to Sharper Image for help, but they were useless. That's a complete and utter blunder!.
It broke the first time I used it, and it cost more to send it back for a replacement than to buy a new one, which I'm not going to do. I would have done that one if there had been a zero rating.
It was attached to my dog's collar and was lost within half a mile; the nylon loop did not break (as it was still attached to her collar), but the device itself did. Make sure you don't throw your money away!.
This product was not functional. I threw it out minutes after opening the package because the battery had corroded and damaged the device.
I was curious to see how much exercise my dog was getting. This was not the right product for me. It was horribly inaccurate, and after only a week, it stopped working.
Also. It was quickly knocked off the table and lost. Every time the dog turned her head, it seemed to register a couple of steps as well.
One of the two that I ordered was defective. I saved it as a spare part. Why not? It's only $4.
