How well does this work in areas where there is limited WiFi but cell service?

A WiFi network is required for the first Safe Place and is recommended for each additional Safe Place when using the Whistle Go and Go Explore. The Whistle Go and Go Explore are kept in power by having a WiFi connection with which they are paired. Saving mode conserves battery power while allowing the tracker to download updates and upload activity and battery data more quickly. You can delete WiFi networks from your Safe Places, but we recommend that you keep at least one. If your pet leaves a Safe Place connected to WiFi, you will be notified immediately. I have a Whistle 3 and require a replacement collar attachment; however, according to Whistle Tech Support, Whistle 3 replacement collar attachments are no longer available. ?

Is this a whistle go explore or a whistle go go? Whistle go is in the title, but whistle go explore is in the description?

Whistle GO appears to be set to "not explore." The grey Taupe color isn't available on the Explore, as far as I know. Because I ordered the same thing and received a GO (not explore), Amazon most likely sent your question to me.

These were purchased to keep track of my two dogs while they were being boarded. Just in case anything goes wrong. I was afraid of abandoning them, so I was frantic. I've never boarded, but I've found these to be soothing in the house. Except, I must say, the instructions that come with it are largely ineffective. When I'm not at home, my whistle doesn't let me know what my dogs are up to. When I contacted tech support, they never provided me with a satisfactory response. I was given an iPhone case, but I have an Android phone. Since then, there have been no more crickets.

It was money well spent

This has been extremely beneficial for our two active dogs. We've always been able to see where they are, and if they're somewhere they shouldn't be, it's been simple to track them down. If the batteries have been sitting around at home for a while, they will last about two weeks. It's also nice to have a fitness tracker to make sure they've gotten enough exercise for the day.

My dogs are always getting out of the yard, so I bought this product to track their location. The first time they got out, I went straight to the app to see where they were. It is extremely practical. The battery lasts a long time, which I appreciate. If you just want to keep an eye on your pet or see how active they are, I would highly recommend purchasing this product.

We just got them, so I can't comment on battery life or accuracy just yet, but we have older versions and they worked fine, so I'm confident these will as well, though I was surprised they arrived several days earlier than expected.

Design flaws

The tabs that allow the tracker to "click in" on my dog's collar are breaking off one by one after three weeks. One of my dogs will no longer be able to stay on it. I am the only one who removes them, and I take great care in doing so. This is a bad design.
