As a result of the poor customer service, I've decided to write a full review. br>br>I'm stumped as to how to put the plan together. "I am unable to set up my plan, please assist," I said when I contacted them. "I have no setup," I received as a response. As a result, if you ever need help finding your pet, you will not be able to get it. br>br>We used the product and found it to be fairly reliable. 1 - The precision isn't particularly high. It's around 75-80 degrees outside. 100 feet. It is only updated on a regular basis. It's difficult to tell how long ago the last update was, and your pet might have moved on by now. There is a "close search option," which goes from one bar to three bars in a matter of feet before returning to one bar. My guess is that it's also because it's not in real time. br>br>It's also unreliable. After being outside for 15 minutes, our pet unexpectedly appeared on a map 1500 miles away in Florida. It happened twice; you must wait 30 minutes for it to resolve itself. If you're looking for your pet, this isn't the best situation. br>br>Summary: br>br> br>br>Extremely poor customer service, which can be unreliable at times. Finding your pet requires more detective work and wandering than you expect. If I'd been able to get the plan, I would have kept it. I intend to purchase a well-known brand.
I started with Fi because I needed a collar for my fence jumper. These guys switched to AT after Fi couldn't get theirs to work. T and made it work, proving that they could succeed where the others had failed. I like how Google maps can be used to overlay the location. br>P. I'm very pleased with my decision. In addition, it costs less.
Amazing! Amazing! It does exactly what it says! Given that this is the ONLY GPS tracker on Amazon (pet or otherwise) that promises a 30-day battery life, it's a no-brainer. I was skeptical of the 5G IoT's promise of all-day battery life and low-cost service. I'm blown away that it works as promised after only a week of use! br> Here are a few things to think about:
- It necessitates the use of a 5G network. You'll need to look up a coverage map for your area on the internet. ATT is the Los Angeles area's carrier, according to customer service. It did not work in a rural area where there was a 4G LTE signal but no 5G coverage, except to send its location to my phone via Bluetooth when I was within 20 feet.
- Battery life: it reports 75% power remaining after 1 week, so the promised 30- It's easy to believe that day-to-day life can be this realistic.
- Setup: Installing the Android app and entering the settings took about ten minutes. It was working after 20 minutes of connecting to the 5G network.
- Performance of the GPS: It takes 5 minutes for the device to respond when I ping it for a location update. Count to ten. In a two-story building, it has no trouble picking up a signal from below. With a tile roof, it's a two-story house.
- Customer service: I asked a question via the app's live chat feature, and it was promptly answered.
- Quality of construction and size: Both appear to be excellent choices. My 7-pound puppy seems unconcerned about it being on his collar.
- A walk's first position fix can be half a block off, but a second ping always gets it within 20 feet.
- The cost of the service plan (6/2020) is as follows: $2. For three years, you'll pay $99 per month, or $3 total. For a period of two years, the cost is $99, which is a savings of $4 For a year, it's 99 dollars per month, or $6. Minor drawbacks: $99 per month, paid in advance. br>Minor drawbacks: $99 per month, paid in advance. br>Minor drawbacks: $99 per month, payable
- Even if the last position was hours or days ago, it is labeled as "Currently Located. " It would be preferable if the date of the fix was included. You won't know where your dog is until you click to update the position or it is updated on a regular basis because you're moving.
- The feature that allows you to locate the device using a direct Bluetooth connection from your phone is limited to 20 feet. It would be useful for locating the device if it was misplaced or fell off, but not for locating your dog.
Despite the fact that I live in an area with limited cell service, this tracker has proven to be extremely useful. The battery life on this device is outstanding. The customer service is outstanding. I've had a few other trackers that were unreliable, but this one has performed admirably thus far. My only wish is for it to be able to create polygon e-textures. fence.
Since my initial review, I've discovered that you can contact the company (in China) via the app's feedback section, which is located under settings. To respond, they'll send you an email. You must be patient because there is a 13-hour difference in time. They were able to work out a solution with AT&T. T and get the gadget to work. It is, however, completely incorrect. It indicates that the device is 3 blocks away from my home. This is acceptable because it places you in the proper location. There's a close search feature that you can use to locate your pet. This is the point at which the product fell short. The feature is completely broken. It doesn't even recognize the device, which is unfortunate because I had high hopes for this device. I'm skeptical of the company's offer to replace the device and provide 6 months of free service because if I wait too long, I won't be able to return to Amazon for a refund, and I'll be out $90. br>With trepidation, I return to Amazon. Perhaps the answer will come from the next generation.
Follow-up evaluation: After 30 days, this device was still fully charged. It has performed admirably. br>br>To all the negative reviewers, I say, "Wait a minute. " br>br>As someone who previously worked in the GPS telematics and SaaS industry for the industry's leading technology (Fleetmatics, which was purchased by Verizon for $2 billion), I can attest to the fact that it is possible to combine the two. 2B), this is a great device, with a small footprint for the positioning quality it provides. Is it ideal for your feet? No. However, within a 10-foot radius, it is almost always accurate. 100’. Even when not in "lost" mode, where the refresh rate increases in response to the dog's activity, ie:
Setup was extremely easy , the app is very simple to use and navigate, battery life after 3 days, even with performing real time “emergency br>br>I thoroughly tested this device after losing my service animal for the ninth time (9 years) due to a few jackasses and fireworks in a densely populated area prior to the election. 4th. My companion will never be alone and afraid for more than 28 hours again. Petbiz deserves a lot of credit.
