These raincoats came in threes. 4, 5, and 6 are the sizes available. My Shadow is about 60 pounds and wears a size 4. My Jasmine was 75 pounds and wore a size 5 when she died in July. I gave the size 6 to a neighbor who owns a shepherd who weighs around 100 pounds. I believe you should use the size chart to measure your dog because it is not only their weight that matters, but also their length, chest, and neck measurements. The jackets are my favorite because they keep them completely dry.
In terms of the smaller sizes, I'm not sure. My dog is quite large. I believe I ordered a 5x, and she is 110 pounds.
Use the chart, as I did, and you'll find that the fit is excellent.
Hello, there are no front leg holes on this jacket: )br>This design is more convenient to put on and take off.

For my standard poodles, I purchased two of them. They both should have fit the 4XXL according to the size chart, but my larger dog, who weighs 65 pounds, didn't quite fit. Because the hood covered his neck and the body was too short, the hole for the leash was placed too far back. So I returned it and ordered a size up just to be safe. It's also possible that it will cover a larger portion of his body. My smaller standard weighs in at 48 pounds. It was a perfect fit for her. They looked fantastic in it. I'll be spending a lot of time in our RV, which means I'll be out in the rain a lot more. Because their coats collect water and make such a mess, I figured I'd try to do something to reduce the amount of water that will be coming in after their walk. It's a well-made jacket with a nice appearance.
When it comes to going outside in the rain, my dog can be a bit of a wuss. This was purchased to help me transition from a winter coat to a rainy spring coat. This serves as a first line of defense, though it isn't as waterproof as I'd like. br>The front and back connections are a little strange. She despises having it pulled over her head, and if the back buckles are too loose, they can get caught in her legs when she squats to urinate. You simply go through one of the leg holes (which is fine) with her front-clipped easy walk harness. br>It's extremely light and thin, making it ideal for hot weather.
The only reason I give it five stars is because of the excellent quality. br>Good luck convincing your dog to wear this thing because it has straps around its hind legs. The front part's velcro isn't well attached. br>It would be a much better item if the method of attaching it to a dog was as well thought out as the quality.
All of the other raincoats were too short on her back, and even if they were, they were too big in the chest and belly. This was the only one I could find that fit almost perfectly! The color was appealing to me. I also like how it easily wraps around her front and back legs to keep it from slipping to one side, and I like how the hood has a clear brim. The hoods usually obstruct the dog's vision, so they keep rubbing them off. She doesn't seem bothered by this one because she can see it. I am extremely pleased with my purchase!.
For comfort, I went up a size, and it's still perfect!.
In a 5xl size, an Australian shepherd weighing 63 pounds. During a New England storm, I went for a 1-mile (20-minute) walk. br>br>Pros:
- super fashionable (LOOK AT HOW HE ROCKS IT)br>- kept the top of his body, chest, and back drybr>- passed the urine/poop testbr>- a fair pricebr>br>contrary to popular beliefbr>br>contrary to popular beliefbr>br
- The headpiece would not stay in place (he moves his head a lot)br>- After shaking his body to get the rain off his face, his tail (nub) had to be covered several times during our walk.
- He's drenched from head to toe. br>br>Overall, a good product; however, I'm thinking of getting another rain jacket with no head cover but a belly cover.
if they aren't soaked! I take two big guys to work with me every day, and with the rainy season in Florida being what it is, I knew they'd need these before the storms arrived! My Brazilian Mastiff has used it twice and we love it, but my new puppy hasn't yet.
As a result, I got something for my water-hating pointer. She acts as if she is being burned by water. If it's raining or the ground is wet, she won't go potty for nearly an entire day. We had to go to the vet because of a recent storm. When I put a raincoat on her, she was overjoyed until she stepped in a puddle. br>One thing, except for the straps that got around her front legs, the material seemed thick and durable. She walked down the ramp, and I heard a ripe. Crap! I'll attempt to sew it together, though I'm a little disappointed. However, it is a must-have for her.
