I originally ordered a small for my 12 pound dog with a 17 inch chest, but it was too small, so I had to order a medium to compare. If you're more concerned with style, I suppose small is also a good option. Although the medium appears to be a little large, I decided to keep it because I intend to wear it over a winter jacket. I'm sharing both photos with you for your consideration. The first two photos are small. br>br>My advice to the company is to improve the hood design. Just a few days ago, my daughter got to try it on for the first time in the rain. However, she refused to wear the hood because it is far too large and covers her face. I'm trying to figure out how I can keep her head and ears dry while still allowing her to see next time. Because the leash hole won't work with a collar and leash, I'll have to get her a harness as well. The raincoat, on the other hand, is adorable and kept her torso dry.

It's exactly what I was looking for. I wish it came in a large, but that's not a big deal because an XL fits her chest with plenty of room! It came in a sleeve, which I intend to use to store it in the off-season. br>To put it on your dog, simply slide the hood over his or her head and adjust (it has an elastic cord and toggle), which is a feature I like because it allows for a more custom fit. br>The belly strap was long enough to cover her from head to tail and go around her sides, keeping her dry! br>br>Overall, I cannot recommend this coat enough; the print is cute and classic (I chose a classy plaid), works for a male or female dog, and there is a reflective strip to ensure your dog is seen at night if you happen to have them wear it on a nighttime walk in the rain. br>br>My Lola is extremely difficult to fit because she is a medium size dog with a large chest, but this made it super simple! My dog dislikes wearing clothes, but I had no choice but to get these for her in anticipation of the rainy season this year. I like that it isn't too constraining for her. Despite her length, unlike other items of clothing, a medium fits her well. After seeing my dog wear it, my boyfriend decided to get one for himself.

This is a lovely coat. However, it is not waterproof or even resistant to water. My dog returns home drenched from a rainy walk. His harness is dripping wet as well. He can't keep the hood on because it's far too big and keeps falling over his face. He's adorable, but it's not worth it if he gets wet every time he goes outside, even if it's just a light drizzle.

The item itself was attractive and durable. Their sizing, on the other hand, isn't correct. I took great care to measure my dog and purchase items that were appropriate for him. The package arrived in an absurdly large size. I took it back and went shopping for something else.

I once purchased a real doggie slicker for one of my dogs. This was a genuine experience. It weighed a lot. It was expertly crafted. It made quite a racket, and the dog - who, contrary to popular belief, was not a fearful dog - I couldn't stand it. I believe I used it four or five times over the course of her life, and then it just sat there, sat there, sat there, and I believe I tried it on another dog once. In any case, when it comes to dog clothing, quality and heavy materials do not always equate to durability. I believe this is better designed for the purpose; it does make some noise, but not a lot. Our only pet is an oversized Yorkie. He looks great in the small size. He has a very dapper appearance. The other dog is a schnauzer mix who required the next size up, but she's right on the border between the two sizes, so I've been wondering if I could make a few minor adjustments to make it fit her better. Naturally, their bellies get wet because they're mostly exposed, but if you just want to get them out and do what they need to do while it's raining, these work great. They come highly recommended from me.

It's lightweight, and my dogs don't mind wearing the coat at all! I'm surprised it fits my big baby, but it also fits my 98lb pitbull, so it's very versatile! The strap fits perfectly under their bellies and pulls right over their heads!.
