I wish I could give this a star but I can only give one! The product does not look well made, but it is well constructed. My cat completely ripped through the mesh on the door on its second use. I'm not talking about mesh, I'm talking about the plastic rubbery stuff you put in your cabinet to keep things from sliding away. A cat can feel the bottom and top are rigid and strong before you put them When you pick it up, it collapses in around the cat and loses all its shape. I had a great time working with you guys. The carrier is collapsing as I tried to take a picture of it, but now that there's a huge gap, my kitty doesn't want to stay in it when I pick it up and it falls on top of him.

This thing broke open in the middle of the street while I was walking! There was a problem with the zipper, which popped open in the middle and could not be repaired. 12 lbs is the weight of my cat. That's like my worst nightmare coming.

My cat ended up on the concrete in the garage on our first trip out of the house because the zipper on the bottom detached completely. After realigning the zipper, we tested it with a hand held device to make sure it was completely secured. A lot of cars were in the parking lot, so my cat was lost in the middle of the lot after leaving the hotel. This product does not seem to work for me and I will not use it again. I don't know if ours is defective, but I do not trust it any further than I can throw it away.
