Without a doubt. To make cleaning easier, the bowl can be easily disconnected. It can also be attached to the back of your car seat, making it a very long-lasting product. When not in use, the bowl folds down to fit into a small space in a crate or kennel. It's convenient to be able to simply fold or twist the bowl into an unlok position, and it will pop right off.
The bowl is included. When ours broke, we were only able to find a complete set.
I don't think this bowl would keep ants out, even though I keep it indoors and only use it for water.
Granite in a white/gray hue.

Honestly, it's a very simple product to set up. I flew overseas and went to look after the dogs during our layover and discovered that all four of these bowls had snapped off and shattered into a variety of large, small, and tiny pieces all over our dogs' kennels. As a result, they will not be given food or water on their second flight (and will only be given a snack during their layover). br>br>I strongly advise against using this product for flying because the pieces were extremely sharp. There were no major injuries to the dogs, but the vet did discover a few during the initial flight inspection. I'm not sure I'd use these bowls for anything other than driving. br>br>*No photos allowed due to being on a military flight line with no cameras or phones allowed.
For years, I wasted a lot of money by having a lot of my parrot's (African Gray Parrot) food fall to the bottom of the cage or even outside of it. I noticed that he liked to pick up his food and chew it out of his foot, and because he didn't have lips, a lot of it flew off to the side, whether he was standing on his perch or eating from the food bowl. So I gave one of these 40oz bowls a try, and I moved his perch just an inch away, forcing him to eat while standing on the bowl. BINGO! The majority of the food that did not make it down his throat ended up in this large bowl. The amount of food that was thrown away decreased dramatically. All of his food bowls were replaced with these 40oz bowls, which were also easier to remove and clean on a regular basis than the ones that were bolted to the side of his cage. br>CAUTION: THIS PAGE MAY CONTAIN OFFENSIVE MATERIAL. He didn't like standing on the stainless steel and granite-colored 40oz bowls because they don't completely click into place; they remain loose and wobble. So, until the manufacturer corrects the problem, get the pink plastic bowls.
In my cockatoo's cage, I used this crock as a bird bath. I needed something that was big enough for him to get into but small enough to fit in the cage. It had to lock on and be something the clever cockatoo couldn't unscrew or disassemble (he's a master at this!). ) It was a perfect solution. br>br>We have to be careful that he doesn't see how we turn the bowl because the way it's set up, you just have to turn the bowl to unlock or lock it into place, which means you can take the bowl out to clean it, refill it, and replace it without having to remove the entire lock and assembly each time. It's sturdy, sturdy enough to hold on to the cage, and it won't be messed up by a dog chewing on it if a parrot with a stronger bite grip can't crack it. Overall, it's a fantastic bowl, and we'd buy it again if we ever needed another.
It's a tasty bowl. I fastened it to my dog's crate, which he spends the day in while I'm at work. Unfortunately, he becomes agitated and tries to climb onto the bowl, putting his entire weight on it. The bowl finally snapped after a few months of this. I ordered a replacement, but the back plate snapped again as I was tightening it to the crate. It's possible that this was partly my fault. I tightened it a lot because I knew my dog would climb on it, and I didn't want it to spin and tip over. Perhaps it was a little excessive. I replaced the back plate with a piece of plywood with a hole in it, and it's worked perfectly since then. br>br>This is a great bowl if your dog is calm. If your dog is anything like mine, he'll eventually break it, but I've looked at the other Amazon options and this one still appears to be the best.
Because of the noises that metal bowls make when food or water falls back into them, my dog dislikes them. He has a high sensitivity to sound. I was originally looking for a large plastic one but couldn't find anything except for small dogs, so I'm overjoyed to have discovered this. When I get home and let my dog out of his kennel, he drinks water, so he now has the option of drinking water. I was concerned that the weight of the 40 oz bowl would cause it to fall or break, but it has held up admirably in my hands for the past few weeks.
I was pretty excited about this bowl at first because several foster dogs have come and gone through our house and used it successfully. It twists away from the base with ease, and the bowl stays in place so the dogs don't waste their water. I liked how the water bowls fit into the iron rings; I've heard of dogs becoming stuck in those bowls and injuring themselves. Why three stars, then? br>br> One day, we put our 8-pound dog in a kennel. She wasn't getting along with the other dogs, so we decided she needed her own space for the day. We put our teeny tiny dog in the kennel, secured her water, and left for two hours; when we returned, the crock's base had broken into tiny pieces. I'm not sure how she did it, but the crock was still intact, despite the fact that the base had been destroyed. I can't figure it out for the life of me. This may not be the carrier water bowl for you if your dog is cunning or destructive. This crock worked well for the majority of our dogs, and even after a small crack in the water bowl, we purchased a replacement. However, the next time she needs quarantine, we'll have to use a heavy-duty water bowl.
These bowls are very appealing to me. This brand has been my go-to for the past five years. They are compatible with both wire and plastic carrier crates. Cleaning the bowl is simple. They do a fantastic job of lasting. My dog enjoys burying her bowls and making a mess of her blankets, food, and water, which she usually does in her cage. With the crocks in her cage, she now has a crate pad. For years, I've been solely relying on these. These crocks will also fit on permanent kennel cages of the professional type.
These bowls are great because they don't take up a lot of space in the kennel. However, they are prone to breaking where the bowl is twisted. You can't just order that part if it breaks because you have to buy a whole new set. As a result, my new foster child, who suffers from severe anxiety, frequently breaks these rules. I tried using a stainless bowl with a metal ring, but the bowls came out of the ring too easily, causing him to throw the water and bowl! They can be chewed on as well, but it only leaves tooth marks, which are an eyesore rather than a break.
