It's completely made of plastic, after all. It's only for vet visits that I keep my bunny in it. Unless the rat is only going to be there for a short time, I'm not sure I'd recommend it for a chewer.
Yes, paying a premium for the right color can be a pain. I have both a green and a blue carrier, and they are identical in terms of functionality. I was able to obtain the green by simply waiting for the price to fall to the same level as the other colors, which occurred after a few weeks.
I don't think two Guinea Pigs would be at ease in this item.
It comes with a mat, or more accurately, a carpet.

In the event of an emergency or something, I wanted a carrier with handles. Most small animal carriers with handles attach to the lid rather than the base, which made me nervous that the base would detach while my animals were inside!br>br>When I saw this carrier, I was overjoyed! My 7-year-old was adamant about keeping our hamster. br>br>I purchased this as well as the Living Small Animals carrier in large size to compare options. This one is a lot more rommier than the other, and the air flow through the basket is fantastic. In my opinion, this alleviates the suffocation. We were able to fit all of her favorite things in there, and there was even room for her spinner so she could get some exercise! The plastic is very sturdy, and she can't get through the faux basket weave. br>br>The only drawback is that it doesn't come with a water bottle, but we were able to use one from her cage. Overall, this is a fantastic purchase!.
This was a birthday present for my rats. When I googled "rat carrier," this was the first result. One of my rats is named Iris, and this is an "Iris Animal Carrier," so I knew it was meant to be. They haven't yet received the gift because it isn't their birthday, but I am confident that they will enjoy it. I stuffed some stuffed animals, a rice sack, and a tissue box into the space. All of that can be accommodated! I also saw in one of the reviews that the walls can hold lava ledges, which my rats adore. I placed an order for some, and they're on their way to the travel cage with me. This is so adorable and cute. When it was only 17 dollars, I bought the tan-colored one. This was probably due to the fact that it was the last one left in stock, which is perfect for me. If it had been the same price as it is now, I might not have purchased it. What is the price of 33 dollars? That's completely absurd. But I'm a sucker for a good $17. I've also ordered a long-distance bridge, which I'm hoping will fit. oh well. I'm sure my rats will enjoy this, and if you haven't already, please subscribe to the "Alpha Team" YouTube channel (you don't have to; my brother just wants me to put it on everything). For them, it's a suitable size. Unless the rats were young or much smaller, I don't think it would work as well with more rats. We, on the other hand, find it to be ideal. The top door is functional, and the basket can be fully opened for easier access. So far, it appears to be solid, and they haven't been able to break free. The handle is nice; it isn't well designed to hold a water bottle, but that isn't necessary for short trips. It's a little pricey, but it works well, and everyone at the veterinarian thought it was adorable. With two paws raised, I give it a big thumbs up!.
The travel vehicle has a lot of room. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but I'm confident that with the fleece cushion at the bottom and plenty of room for the one or two guinea pigs, I'll be able to stuff some hay in there for them to eat while traveling. The only thing that bothered me was the lack of a water bottle, and the pattern of the plastic was not appropriate for a water bottle that would normally be used in the cage. I bought a small water bottle (supposed to be used in a hamster cage) that can hang, and I believe it works.
I was ecstatic to see how large it was, as it was much larger than I had anticipated. It can easily accommodate two guinea pigs for a veterinarian visit or a pet transfer.
I recently relocated and needed a way for my two Rats to get around. I bought one for each of them just to make sure they had enough space. When I clean their cages, I now use them. They're built to last. Make an informed decision.
This carrier is one of our favorites. We only use this for short trips, as it can hold two rats and a small hide, and we appreciate the small storage space on top. It's the ideal size for a syringe of water and a treat bag. br>br>The carpet can be removed, which is a nice touch.
