Due to human error in sizing, I bought this for my dog. I made a measurement error and ended up buying the SMALL size rather than the one I needed. I did return it, but only because I made a mistake. As a result, I'll tell you what my first impressions were when I opened this package. br>I knew this cage was too small for my dog right away, but it looked and felt sturdy for its intended purpose, and the color wasn't off-putting. putting up some kennels that are a strange yellow-orange color It's a dirty grey that makes you wonder if it's clean. I liked how you could put wheels on it and move it around without having to exert too much effort. br>However, that was the extent of my knowledge of this size, as my dog wouldn't be able to stand in the bottom. Oopsieeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Finding a carrier that fit my dog was difficult because she is tall but short from head to tail. This works great; she shredded a soft-sided carrier, but this is tough and durable. The water and food dishes are nice, but they could be a little narrower. To get them to fit on the door, I'll have to overlap them.
The inside dimensions of this crate are 19 x 11 inches. It doesn't even have a bed, and my 8-year-old Morkie isn't interested. If you put one or both feeder cups on it, she won't be able to get into the crate.
My two six-pound Yorkies, who are six months old, adore the room, and I was able to add a dog pillow. They go in when I say it's time for bed. They require assistance from time to time.
This crate appeals to me greatly. It's well-designed, and it provides plenty of room for my companion. My crate, on the other hand, did not come with the necessary hardware to put it together, which is extremely disappointing. I've got all four corners zip-tied at the moment. It is extremely durable despite being tied. br>br>It would be greatly appreciated if customer service could contact me to assist me in resolving the hardware issue, and I would give this crate the 5/5 stars it deserves.
This is exactly what I was looking for in a travel carrier. I like that it's heavy duty but light enough that I don't mind getting it in and out of my car. It's very easy to clean because there are no tight corners or unnecessary crevasses to collect dirt or poop. The four screws are strong and simple to remove.
It's a simple case to put together and it's very sturdy.
