Although Totally New Technologies is based in the United States, I believe the nylon used in these skimmer socks is made in China. However, I could be mistaken. These are fantastic at filtering out even the tiniest particles of debris. I appreciate the quality of one of them because it lasts for months.

So far, everything has gone well; the product does exactly what it says it will. It was simple to set up and collected a lot of dog hair and other small particles. Based on the pressure in my DE filter, there was no discernible difference in water flow. I did use a small rock to weigh down the center, which created a small cone in which all of the debris was collected. I'm not sure you need to do that, but I read somewhere that some people had issues with things floating back into the pool, so it seemed like a good idea. This actually worked well because all of the debris was caught at the bottom of the sock in the cone, making it simple to clean and reuse if you took the time to do so. I used this one for about 4 weeks and did not notice any material degradation, so it could have easily been re-used. used; How long do you think it will take? I'm not sure, so I just swapped it out. So I'd say they do what they say they do, and I'd buy them again in a year or so when I'm done with them.
My water is crystal clear, and in nearly three months, I've only backwashed twice. br>IMPORTANT NOTE - If your pool isn't enclosed or screened in, you'll need to hose the sock off once or twice a day, especially if you have a lot of insects diving into it.
