No, even though it checks the Ph value and calcium hardness, these strips are designed specifically for spa chemicals like chlorine/bromine. I'm not aware of any other way to test your well water for iron, salt, methane, or anything else. comes from real-world laboratories that conduct those tests.

Many people claim that the strips are inaccurate and that they should not be used. I am not convinced. These are fantastic, particularly when used with the app. Take a reading, enter the information into the app, and it will calculate the chemicals required (you must first set up the app with the details of your pool). Would I prefer to rely on these 100% instead of a test kit? Perhaps not, but this is an excellent supplement. On weekends, I use my test kit to calculate my chemicals, and I check the status during the week. I use these when I use my test kit to see how accurate it is, and they are very close, if not exact, and the chemical calculations in the app are also very close to manual calculations. I prefer the old-fashioned method, but I would be perfectly content to use only these.
This appears to be a high-quality set of test strips that perform well in my daily work. They make my job much easier than the previous method, which I had been using for the past two years. The only thing I see that could be improved is changing the bottle as needed to put the chart on it rather than on a separate piece of plastic that is difficult to carry around all day in my pocket without damaging it. That piece of plastic is very nice looking and works well, but it restricts my ability to handle the product easily due to the necessity of keeping the strips clean and dry while trying to open the bottle with the plastic attached to it and pulling out the syringe. However, I thank you for producing a high-quality product, and I would strongly recommend the strips because they have proven to be fairly accurate thus far. I work on about 50 pools per week and consider myself to be fairly knowledgeable about the subject.
The price is reasonable; I've even paid a few dollars more for a 50 test bottle. The following are the reading increments: Total Hardness (ppm): 0,100, 250, 500, 1000 0,0 ppm Total Chlorine 5,1,3,5,10 are all numbers that can be used to make a number of different combinations. Bromine Total (ppm) 0,1,2,5,10,20 - ppm (parts per million) of chlorine free 5,1,3,5,10 are all numbers that can be used to make a number of different combinations. pH 6. 2, 6. 8, 7. 2, 7. 8, 8. 4 - 0,40,80, 120, 180, 240 - Total Alkalinity (ppm)0,40,80, 120, 180, 240 - 0. 30- 0. 50 ppm cyanuric acid 50, 100, 150, 300, 500, 1000, 1000, 1000, 1000, 1000, 1000, 1000, 1000 I hope this has been of assistance.
It's possible that the problem is isolated to this batch. However, despite a long expiration date, these strips alarmed me by revealing high acidity and low alkalinity in five test strip samples. It had been raining for several weeks. I immediately took a sample of water to a pool store for thorough testing, and the results were perfect in every way. Double-checked the colors with a second person; I also followed the bottle's directions to the letter.
These and Hot Tub Testing Strips, both of which were highly rated, were purchased. I decided to compare the readings from my hot tub using both strips. It was extremely frustrating because nothing seemed to fit. I then took a sample of the water to the store where we bought it and asked them to run it through their test, which came back with results that didn't match either strip. The pH, for example, was at an all-time high of 8. When both strips indicated that the level was low, the answer was 1. I would not buy either of these products again and wish I had the option to return them for a refund.
This is the only type of strip I use. They provide me with all of the information I require regarding my above-ground pool. They can't tell you if you have algae or cloudiness, which is the only thing they can't tell you. To the naked eye, they're both obvious. br>br>Owning a pool can be difficult, but with these, I can easily maintain my 24' pool. There's no need to test the water, and there are no strange dyes to mix. Simply adjust the levels by dipping them in and out. Easy.
When it comes to a quick check of pool water, the seven-in-one is extremely versatile. To get the water where I want it when I open the pool, I first use chemical kits. Then I check them once a week to make sure the water hasn't changed. If it is, I will return to the chemical kids until the problem is resolved.
After spending my entire life using a small chemical droplet tester, I was skeptical, but I decided to give these a shot. They are extremely effective. Just to make sure it was accurate, it ran a test strip and then took a sample of water to my local pool supply for testing, and the results were spot on. Forget about color-coded chemical bottles; I'm done with them!.
