I'm a short and to-the-point kind of guy. It was just a matter of cording it on and going! In Arizona, it's PERFECT HELL the tiniest dust blows back into the air within an hour with the winds here. . . and look at that It's very important to take things very slowly. . . spent two hours on this and I'm not even halfway through but look how much difference there is already! I get that kind of life when I live near a neighborhood that has a tree hanging over my pool. Anything from bugs to dust, tree seeds to grass seed to bird feathers has been found in my pool, yet for such a ridiculously low price, this vacuum You can't believe what you told me. Be sure not to turn your water on too hard because you will blow all the dust and bugs We used socks to catch dust as you cannot use a mesh or pantyhose to catch it. You could use the bag it comes with if you don't live in an area that is dusty, but you may want to bungy it or use an exhaust clamp if you live in a dusty area. Thank you! Although initially very skeptical, I ultimately tried it after seeing an amazing price point compared to even just buying a skimmer net at a pool supply shop. It cost less than that to buy this kit as a whole. A 10' by 30" Intex pool was given to us by friends when they upgraded their pool set up. Since there are so many trees around, the pool stays relatively cool (which is a good thing) but there are always pieces of tree debris that fall I skimmed the surface of the area as I didn't want my kids to come in contact with all that rubbish. In spite of this, there continued to be buildup on the pool floor. It never occurred to me that there was a cleaning kit for it until I discovered this one. This works much better than I imagined. It only takes a few minutes to clean the entire bottom. This vacuum was able to work very well due to our high water pressure. As an added bonus, you will be able to top-off your pool water level at the same time, as the excess water will simply be poured in. I was able to catch everything well with the net. Despite being able to pull through the water easily, the skimmer net still captures everything well. It can be difficult to pull some nets through the water because they are too fine. I don't see a problem with that. This would be a good option if you do not have access to a filter vacuum and you have a small pool.
It's a waste to buy more than one vacuum, but Intex won't let me buy just the vacuum for my size pool, no matter how much it costs. According to my research, vacuums work best when the water pressure is high (60 psi or more) and filters are good. It was suggested that you use three socks and the flimsy filter bag Intex provides. After a few seconds, I decided that was excessive and tried one wool dress sock instead. As soon as I put it into the filter bag provided by Intex, it worked perfectly. As soon as you're done, turn the sock inside out and run it under strong water pressure for a few seconds. Hang it somewhere to dry. The entire summer I had her working for me.

Using an old tube 2" long the same size as the output of the vacuum head, I stuffed it in the center of the forward bag in order to force the water to travel up the bag before it get to the media to be filtered, then I vacuumed. In 2 hours, I had a perfectly clean pool without dust left behind. Once that was done, I put a little clip on the pole to hold the bag in place. I find it pretty funny how it looks like an old Kirby vacuum bag when it's working. With that said, I now have a great pool vacuum and enough filter media to last me through it is easy to keep buying pillows whenever I need more, it costs me $ 6 bucks We live in a wonderful world.
