I would not recommend it, and I would not buy it At least a year is how long I had to wait between replacing my filters in the pet shop last time. Since that pet shop stopped carrying them, I knew I'd have to order them online. I am not the best person to come up with an idea. Almost immediately, the white filters began unraveling. The black filter appears to be okay. Since I have to wash my filters out at least once a week, the white ones I have been using broke into small pieces when I rinsed them out last week. I had to go to a pet store and find a new set because the white ones finally fell apart. I know they are cheap, but the retail ones lasted much longer as well and were just as cheap at the pet store! As a positive note, this incident has caused us to start planning for replacing the 190 with a much larger external filter this summer.
The product fits well in a small fish pond outdoors. It runs all year round, I wash it once a week during summer and twice a week during the fall and winter During the whole winter, I went to the mall three times.
It is convenient and ready to use. As well as the bigger pieces that you have to cut to size, I have also bought those that are With regards to the precut, I will continue. It is as simple as removing the old filter and replacing it with a new one. The filter I use to filter water in my turtle pond. This filter does a great job of catching dirt and can be hosed off and used multiple.
Turtle ponds can get dirty quickly I have one. The use of the pond master along with these ready-to-use filters simplifies the process of keeping the pond clean. Their love makes me happy.
I've never been able to get the pump and fountain to work. There was a problem with the nozzle on the fountain, which caused it to only spray instead of bubble. After a few weeks, it was completely unable to work. However, at that point it didn't come on even with the filter changed. As I tried calling the number on the box to find out if it could be returned, I got an answering machine and was never able to reach anyone.
Up until I found these, I was going to have to purchase a whole new fountain/filter system. It is great to find my old system working so well!.
There's an 8-inches-deep pond that I have been trying to filter for years and it's never come out just right. A few minor errors in other cleaning methods have led to the loss of many fish stocks. In spite of that, I've had no problems since using that filter. Biological and mechanical filtration are available, but chemical filtration is not available. In this case, I recommend to stay away from this filter if this is critical to your pond. The chemistry of my water is not usually a problem for me, so I do not worry about chemical filtration as much. Although I am not sure what the manufacturer recommends, I change my media every six months, but with that, the media must be cleaned and rinsed either monthly or every two weeks. Therefore, if buying new media is easier, it would be best to do so. In spite of the negative perceptions, this is an excellent product (both the filter and media).
A set of three is available for you. In response to the death of my old Pond Master pump after 4 years, I bought a new one, which I find to be For the summer, I replace them every spring with a new set of 3.
