It acts as a way to deliver aeration from a pump or compressor into a diffuser (aerator) that is submerged in water. The tubing is weighted and designed to sink in Tubes with holes at each end are not porous or fitted with fittings, and there are only two holes at each end.
It's made of rubber and lead, I don't see why you couldn't use it. Find one that matches both your diffuser and pump, cut to length and tighten it with stainless steel gates hose clamps. Depending on the brand of your air pump, the barb size will be displayed in 1/4 in etc. A similar measurement would be to measure the inside diameter (id) of the tube. What might work is another idea that came to me. In terms of hose, you might be able to use suction hose from automotive applications, where you can get If you use your medium to hide it, you will need to use the cover "stuff" on the bottom to secure it. There may be a way to do this that is a lot more practical and significantly This stuff is usually kept on rolls, and then cut to length when needed. In proportion to the size of the identity, the price will rise. It is also possible to do the same thing with hydraulic hose if you need a heavier piece of machinery. Thank you for this message. I hope it will be of some help to you.
Hello and thank you for getting in touch. The ID is 3/8" and the The number 678. Please let me know if this helps you!
You can order the hose in any length you want. You should always have extra footage due to exposure to weather, regardless of if you need to build a 25/50/75 foot structure. The brittleness of any hose that is exposed to the sun but not underground will increase over time. By cutting off the brittle part, you will be able to use the candy.

Floating air lines are a thing of the past. The air hose is necessary if you want to add aeration to your lake or pond. You will need to fill the air hose with filler to keep it from floating, unless you plan to place some clean fill over it. . . . and the air hose sinks to the ground! There is some weight built into the hose to keep it on the pond floor even when it is filled with compressed air. It is extremely durable, thick, and has a lot of weight. In weather about 48 degrees, I ran 100 feet of the 3/8" hose and it was very flexible and easy to handle. I feel that this hose is much stronger and thicker than the cheap poly hose that came with my air pump. In the end, I had to purchase another 100 feet of hose for my pond to add a second membrane diffuser. Any pond or lake can have aeration added. It's an old saying that says if you keep the water, the plants and fish will keep themselves. I could not agree more. I hope you found my review to be helpful if so, please click the I appreciate it.
There aren't 100ft between the two towers. If 80 doesn't work, try 90. I like the product. It does exactly what it is supposed to It should last a while, but it's a good idea to check the length when you open it. The order was for 100 feet. There is a box that says 100 feet. Their word was good enough for me, so I When he later swam it out in a pond, he realized he had a problem with it. There are actually just 80 feet left of it. The following updates have been made At this point, the installation has been in place for over 6 months and it is doing.
It is nice to have air stones, but they are not narrow enough for common aquarium air stones that I like to use around my ponds to make sure the nooks and crannies are properly As a result, I will be running an easily-recognisable program A clear air hose without weight is available inside of a weighted line, but long hoses are a pain to use. Using three 3-foot sections will make it easier to weigh down the unweighted air hose, so you can cut up the weighted line into smaller sections. There is some pain, but it is not as bad as it was.
In combination with a diffuser and an air pump, this air pump works amazing to aerate a big pond. Because it's thick and heavy, it sinks to the bottom without a It should be flexible enough to be able to lay flat but also be able to push on Overall, this is one of the better hoses for aeration of ponds.
This product looks to be one of high quality. It's very flexible, easy to work with, and sinks quickly. The barb on this fitting is 3/8. In my case, I am using it for pond aeration and ordered it with a Hi-Res scale Using a Rootscape aerator and a blow 80 pump. In a matter of minutes, a location for the pump was determined, and the whole set up was ready for installation. It makes me happy to know that I won't have to think about this hose again for many years to come.
I found this product to be exactly as described and the price was right. This is a high quality product that we will order again for all of our I was very pleased with the service and the delivery timing.
A weighted pond hose basically has the same parameters as other pond hoses. Aerators must release pressure fast enough to not overload your pump, which could result in shorter pump life. Selecting the right inside hose diameter is important to match up to your pump's CFM output and to ensure your aerator does not overload your pump.
In order to extend my pond aeration system into deeper water, I needed to purchase this hose. This sink is easy to use, sinks well, and sinks well. In spite of having pulled it up several times this summer to make adjustments to the diffusers, it still looks like it just came out of the box. This product is reasonably priced compared with other products of a similar nature. The hose worked perfectly. You won't run into any problems.
