A concrete replica of a faux rock that I made for the 200 series
Regarding your question, I appreciate it. Both Laguna and Tetra make products that come in many sizes. As long as the Laguna pump is less than 3,000 GPH (gallons per hour), it should fit just fine. Anything more powerful than that will pull more water than the skimmers can handle and most likely will Is there anything else I should know? It would probably be fine if it were outside of the pond, but concrete would need to be planned in advance. You can watch some videos online to learn how to install properly. Using a pond liner, I made the pond.

Pipe fittings are the only items. This game is a real skill. Honestly, for this price, you would expect them to include a 2" barbed hose fitting, particularly since the matching BioFalls unit includes a 2" fitting, and pond systems are more commonly built with PVC hose. But that's not what you get. Pipe fittings are the only types of pipe fittings. In Delaware, you cannot find a 2" barbed hose fitting at any hardware store, although barbed hose fittings can be found in either a hardware or a home improvement store. As a result, this caused a two-fold problem that could have been avoided While I wait for the proper fitting to be shipped, there will be a one-day delay. It is at least possible for Aquascape to be consistent as far as product kits go.
I am going to be very glad I bough this item, but assumed it would be You would get much more than a cheap plastic box for that amount. As it is, I would need this item in order to complete my pump setup, so I guess I am not losing any money by purchasing this item. It is described as pumping 3000 gallons per hour The pump cannot handle such a large pressure, it should say it can handle a pump that large. I am impressed with how well the product is made and I plan on.
In the event of something going wrong, there is no way to contact the seller. When parts are missing, how do you obtain them? "All new skimmers should come with any and all parts listed by the manufacturer," says the description. I did not receive a bulkhead or any plumbing fittings when I received this skimmer. It comes with a faceplate, a skimmer net, the bulk head fitting, etc. ".
Despite its thickness and solidity, it's a heavy material. This, however, is not the same as the photographs. On the crossection photo, the net is pointed in the direction of the front of the box at a 90 degree angle. There is no such thing. There is no management of the box, so the CD slid all over the place. Spend a third of the money on a net that actually works and you can build this thing yourself. It has taken me significantly more time to modify this thing to help it accomplish what they advertise it can do. The cost is high and the time is wasted.
I liked the fit of the net and brush as well. does the job, but with the price I paid, it does not match the quality of others I have used and liked more. It is very difficult to remove either the net or brush to clean one or the other because the items are too close together.
My computer had a hard time washing out the gunk off the bottom because it kept sucking it up and The water was crystal clear in just one day, when I installed it (by myself). Putting this skimmer in years ago would have been a wise move. There has never been a time when I have been happier with my pond and its ease of maintenance. It was a nightmare to take care of my bio falls. As of now, I do this once a month, and I clean the skimmer basket weekly because there is a tree above As compared to the thousands of dollars I spent on thousands of bandaids for water clarity, this is FAR MORE VALUE FOR.
Since the dog door can be adjusted I lose less water and don't have to pull the hose out since the dog is in and out as much. However, there are no instructions on how to assemble it. It was quite tough to read the site at first, I had to stare at it for awhile, then I realized that the tools to hold the door in place really helped if they had a height dimension on the site.
The one I got for my other pond, which is 16 years old, was so great, I ordered another one. Although I had to retrofit it a bit to the old liner (the old skimmer was wider), it came out great. This is a highly recommended book. There is a slight price difference I'd like to see.
