In comparison to the original Savio compact skimmer media, what makes this media distinct? How similar is the flow rate? How fine or how coarse should the grain be?

Using the compact skimmer media for the first time. I have used this material in my pond filter enclosure, and I have been satisfied with it.

They float, so that is the answer. They float in water without anchors when I buy this and a blue/white filter mat. Algal growth causes the sink to In the filter, I found pieces of them. Decomposition occurs over time as they break apart.

How rigid is this filter to be cut into a thin sheet and slide into a filter holder flat?

It is true. The new system felt a bit rigid in comparison with the old A commercial hardware store can be used to cut pads.

The filtering and the flow are very good

I use this in my pond's filter basket and it works well. In that basket, there was no filtering media and only the basket's grid, which was too coarse to catch the needles that fell onto the water. A lot of people seem to respond well to this media. Although it's not perfect, I expect to clean the pump intake far less often as a result of the fit.

It's wonderful to do business with this This is a great book! I was not able to apply this filter to I had to unclog it within 24 hours because it became clogged and I could no longer have water flowing would like to mention that the supplier was great and issued a full credit right away

Like Savio media, it works just as well

The Savio filter that I use for my 750 gallon pond uses NPF. Material that could have easily been used as a replacement for Savio's original filter. The media cut to fit in the two holders and works just like the Savio media. One and a half million media holders reside in the United States. The filter is 25" deep, so there was some room to thicken a finer media behind this coarser medium in order to polish the water further. In order to purchase some, I bought some.

I love it! I was expecting a more flexible product, but it turned out to be stiffer than I expected, but cut easily to size and is working great

To have a larger filter box, I made one out of a storage container and used approximately three of them. There will be 6 x 12 inch filter pads to fit the new opening in the box. The piece worked, but it's nice to have one solid piece now rather than a flimsy piece like I had been using previously. In addition to the fish getting sucked through the filter media, I also found that the ill fitted filter pads were making the filter media adhere to the fish. The material on this roll seems very heavy duty and I expect it to last for quite some time.

The muck is filtered out

The filter works great in my plastic outdoor garden pond filter basin, and I love how it makes the muck fall out. In order to reinstall it, all I had to do was hose it down.

Throughout my career, I have placed more than 100 orders. Over a year has passed since the first material was installed. I only have one complaint, which is that the provided length had only been The last 3 inches were critical and I really didn't want to be picky. In order to complete the job, I had to piece together several smaller pieces.
