There is no change in water's PH due to the inert material. It is intended specifically for use with aquatic life.

Though the material is coarse, it still does a great job of filtering water in my pond. The fabric holds up well to repeated washings.

what it is supposed to do! what it is supposed to do! Thick, sturdy and able to hold a high amount of material, these filters are ideal for air and water filters

I find this to be very useful

I use it for my outdoor fountain because it effectively filters out grass and debris. In fact, the fountain runs so well that I have had to clean the filter to keep it flowing.

It is of good In the process of making my own pond filter I used it

The software does a fantastic job. It can then be reused after being hosed off. This is an improvement over blue and white filter paper that will have to be thrown away once used.
