An aquarium and birdbath each hold about 1 gallon of water. I have a roughly 3 3" depth but it was not built with great depth. The heater will not keep the entire bag hot if the temperature drops in any way below that, such as no, etc. In spite of this, a lot of surface area will remain thawed around the heater at all times. Most of the water will be free of icing if the temperature is in the teens or 20s. In any event, I have occasionally brought stray cats, also known as rats, to my second Bird bath on the floor of the deck, and their fur makes them use water as much as possible during the harsh winter months. As one of them puts his foot on the heater, it's heated up). He is very smart!!
While mine is found in an unfinished concrete birdbath, it isn't as warm as one found in Texas. As far as I know, the water has never frozen.
to give it best efficiency.
There is no noise but an internal thermostat controls its operation. Turn on the fan might not have been as efficient due to a lack of winter cold. As well as freezing it prior to winter, you will need to pull it out of the refrigerator freezer after it is frozen, and turn it on after it has frozen.

After reading the directions attached to the very short cord (approximately 14, I understand. But I am not able to understand how all 5 Stair raters failed to acknowledge or explain how they have complied completely with those directions. Considering that the product maker is a sole proprietor, I believe he or she can provide clarification. The lifespan of the connectors is still unknown because we installed them with an expanded conductor along with a waterproof extension cable. The fire may break out in the overnight hours. I should make sure it is at least 50' away from my house since it is under two inches of water. As well as revising and extending my remarks, I need to make minor revisions. It is important to note that the instructions on the device clearly states to use a grounded extension cord, but instead a white label attached to the short cord suggests not to use one at all. My question would still have to be answered from the manufacturer or from AMAZON!.
A heavy duty cast aluminum heater arrived at the next best thing, and I am prepared to set it up now.
I am very disappointed that this has happened. Within a matter of days two of them arrived and both were within 30 miles. The day is a day for returning to a given day return window so I could return it; In my case, I'm stuck, as the other is past the 30-day mark. Despite its hopeless state, this deicer can't be avoided. If it is just below zero or below zero, it is considered cold. This allows shallow birdbath water to freeze solid even when the outside temperature is in the teens; Moreover, even when it drops to 12 degrees, it freezes. Ice, when it is at or below freezing, forms a thick layer at the water's top. I strongly condemn this act. The fact that it received this kind of feedback and a "Amazon's Choice" mark is quite unusual. You'll want to pay attention to these areas that experience truly cold winter temperatures: You will not be able to use it well.
In fact, we've been freezing my fountain because of it. Are the cords sufficiently long, wn warning against using an extension cord! Really? As well as using an appliance extension cord. . This power adapter must be plugged into another outdoor extension cord if this fountain can be operated on the deck.
Birds congregate around the bathier the more birds congregate around the "hot tub"! In our case, our ceramic pedestal style birdbath had a temp drop as low as 20 degrees or as high as 15 degrees. However, this ice-free material protected it from the elements. I have only ever had one complaint against the ridiculously short tail: it does not get any shorter. Unlike a toaster oven that will only fall if it is not properly positioned, this appliance is not meant to go into contact with metal surfaces. If your birdbath is placed directly next to the outlet, then an external extension cord cannot be used. For example, it is not particularly safe to setup with electric motors. This connection point requires the use of a cord connection cover since it is outside most of the time. In general, it doesn't seem unreasonable not to extend the extension cord completely. Here's to bird spa, good! I didn't find that to be very convenient.
Keeping 2 birdbaths in the back yard provides shelter for birds and our furry companion, the squirrel. Wow, these are some amazing things!! The installation process is very easy, and it works well.
Could it be that a longer cord could be on-resistance but maybe a longer cord?? The heater in my metal birdbath made me happy. :D Ever since they were first released years ago have been wanting one. Despite being in such cold weather, a chunk of ice was emptied out and filled with water, but it isn't frozen at this time. The birds enjoyed it yesterday as well as squirrels and rats. As long as you keep the cord about 3 feet long on the birdbath base so that it will be hidden so that you can hook it up with an extension cable, you might reduce interference by preventing the temperature from being dropped by the cord from going high. It wasn't too cold when I first used it, and there weren't many indications as to whether I was getting results. As it turned out, it worked once the cord was dark outside. I noticed a little light going up the cable. You'll see it painted in the spring or I'll even llll paint it or get some stones to cover it a bit.
My backyard birds will be sure to love the water I give them all over the winter. Birds need plenty of energy to make it through the snow melting process, so you may need to bring out a torch in order for them to stay warm. This product seems excellent for winter in Connecticut and I can't wait to try it. As soon as I am satisfied, I will update you.
