An aquarium and birdbath each hold about 1 gallon of water. I have a roughly 3 3" depth but it was not built with great depth. The heater will not keep the entire bag hot if the temperature drops in any way below that, such as no, etc. In spite of this, a lot of surface area will remain thawed around the heater at all times. After reading the directions attached to the very short cord (approximately 14, I understand. But I am not able to understand how all 5 Stair raters failed to acknowledge or explain how they have complied completely with those directions. Considering that the product maker is a sole proprietor, I believe he or she can provide clarification. The lifespan of the connectors is still unknown because we installed them with an expanded conductor along with a waterproof extension cable. The fire may break out in the overnight hours. I should make sure it is at least 50' away from my house since it is under two inches of water. As well as revising and extending my remarks, I need to make minor revisions. It is important to note that the instructions on the device clearly states to use a grounded extension cord, but instead a white label attached to the short cord suggests not to use one at all. My question would still have to be answered from the manufacturer or from AMAZON!.

As long as you keep the cord about 3 feet long on the birdbath base so that it will be hidden so that you can hook it up with an extension cable, you might reduce interference by preventing the temperature from being dropped by the cord from going high.
