How long does it take from beginning to end?

My de- I can't say for sure because the icer is still in the water, but I'd recommend doing some research and contacting the manufacturer. The propeller, I believe, is approximately 6" long.

Will it work with a threaded shaft of a certain size?

The 1/2 hp deicer motor has a 1/2 inch (0.25 cm) shaft. 5) shaft.

Is there a specific prop for a Kasco F2400, or will this suffice?

There will be no unpleasant surprises

DIRECT Replacement is a breeze. It is a simple swap. Simply screw it in place. Plastic appears to be a little more delicate than the original. But, on the other hand, it's better if the prop breaks than if the motor burns out.
